  1. viewed the pups on Tuesday. hard choice but put deposit down on one after much thought. little dog blue bridle with broken coat and blue eyes little stunner he is. pick him up on Thursday, can't wait, let the hard work begin.
  2. what sort of height will this breed roughly expect To get, they all look bigger than I first thought
  3. just wondering on a rough guide to land price, just been offered a private allotment, got no water or electric. basically plot of land with descent fences around. slightly bigger than average allotment size. haven't had chance for proper measurements yet. what would be the going rate?
  4. they look ok but was hoping to keep the log as one so it's totaly natural, wasn't wanting to bodge it with ply wood think it spoils the look. will have to have a play about and found out.

  6. first dog that I am getting for working. got a Jack Russell at the min gets the odd rats down the allotment and just lost or spanIel early this year but he was just a pet. looking forward to the challenge and hopefully will come good
  7. as for the baby on board stickers lads it's actually supposed to be for accidents and for fire fighters etc to no who is in the vehicle but as it's got more popular it's like a fashion and not used in that manner any more

  10. they do look to have quite a rough coat. mainly flat open land like grazing fields. some smaller land around the edge of woods etc. but been promised a lot of rabbiting land though a friend. new to all this so any help or suggestions is appreciated thanks
  11. looking at gettin a luncher for mainly day time work and mooching may be the odd lamp work. have seen some lovely pups, dam is whippet x grey and sire is beddy whippet. do you lot think this is a good mix for what I need? any comments welcome thanks

  15. just anything I can find as my house backs onto the woods just thought a nice free planter lol. was thinking if it's lined with plastic and a slot at the bottom for drainage and was gonna de bark the logs and buff them up a bit and varnish them
  16. have plenty of pets but a beaver is one I haven't got. ha ha. was thinking chain saw, cut a square into the log then to get it out cut one big groove close to the bottom and this would also be the drainage. would this work or is there a better way. some folk on internet say chisel it out but would take forever

  19. hi just wondering if any one has plans for garden furniture ie bird tablets, wooden planters, wheel barrows wishing wells etc basically anything ya can think of in wood. I have recently started making rustic planters and things from re claimed wood, oiling them up and making them look nice and old. would like some more ideas and plans so I can learn and make more. any help would be great thanks
  20. have seen a rat the last couple of days. would they leave any trace at all coz there was no broken shell or anything left behind
  21. another egg yesterday. but placed a egg in my other pen two days ago and it's now vanished!!!
  22. get in the pan, finally one egg today just a small one but hopefully a start at last. cheers fellas
  23. feeding them pellets only and the odd pieces of bread. haven't really noticed any change in the colour of these faces just look like a normal chicken lol.
  24. still no eggs gonna get some grit and different pellets tomorrow. could having a cockeral be anything to do with it?
  25. well two days feeding them warm food and boiled potato skins. still no eggs. tomorrow is day 3!!
