  1. If you are init for the money why not just breed peddigree dogs?? some people do i always ask when im buying a dog over £500 what have the parents done at least 5 times iv had back nothing , but there is a champion 5 generations or so back lol but at least there honest about it , still a shame people breeding all these dogs , making the dogs that do need a home more and more worthless
  2. i dont think its right to buy dogs and sell them on to buy dogs breed them and sell them on , your obv not breeding for the right perpose , and have no morals . a dog is not just your property , its a life .
  3. i need some story's , i have this one so far , from a different forum ''Me and my daughter (whos 3) took the dogs out for our afternoon walk yesterday. We were walking down the lane and was approached by 2 men. 1 asked how old the dogs were, so i said 11 and 8 months. 1 asked if could pet them, to which i agreed. 1st guy asked if i was interested in mating the collie. I said no, she's 8 months old and is getting spayed ASAP. And that the whippet was already done. (which neither have been). The other guy asked if they're reg, i said no, and were just pets. They then said bye and wandered

  14. i may be wrong and i hope i am but if you send to media how interested will they be when they find out there mostly workin dogs belonging to us big bad hunters they will probs think its antis liberating our dogs from a life hunting and support the feckers. i dont trust any press outside our own publications, they are to scared to be seen in any way supporting our way of life. i hope im wrong and something has to be done thats for sure to try and reach a wider audience to make people aware of what is goin on. if it was loads of pampered pets goin missin it would be all over the news and a publi

  16. i know , they werent very descrete about trying to nap dogs either . but other then that i did enjoy the gundog final , my uncle got thou 2 the second round and saw some amazing afghan hounds my greyhound got a rosset for 3rd prettyist bitch :] but nearly having my dog stolen was abit dampener on the day , was always paranoid and knocked sick
  17. Sorry for thread hijacking but I volunteer with a lurcher rescue; we often get dogs coming to us from pounds and dog wardens - the good ones, anyway. Many pounds still destroy dogs within a certain time (it varies according to area) if they aren't claimed. Dogs that are stolen can be miles away within a very short time, tried and dumped, or sold on to who knows where. You should see the state some of them end up in; and the ones we get are the lucky ones. One dog dies every hour in this country (this refers to all breeds) because it's a "stray" - and those are the recorded "put to sleep" deat
  18. hey thanks alot i did actually pm doe last night , she was the only person i could find lol you are very right thou, iv not had a dog stolen myself but i nearly did on friday they were after my saluki pup the whole experience knocked me sick , then last night got a call from my aunt who works gundogs about the spaniel and her 2 pups . just then , it occured to me that how upset i felt was nothing compared to those people or anyone who's dog has been stolen , and that even though nothing can be done , i must do something , iv got 7 contacts now for papers 1 4 a new rooms , the more

  20. do you think i should do a poll on here , like how many people agree awareness needs to be raised? that there should be more secruity at shows? because then i can say X amount of people have agree'd that .. may help
  21. do you think i should do a poll on here , like how many people agree awareness needs to be raised? that there should be more secruity at shows? and that people should have more rights to protect your property as not only will this help owners protect there dogs it should decreased crime rates which have gone up due to the credit crunch resently ? referring to : Under the law you are entitled to use reasonable force in self-defence or to protect another person or your property. # The force that it is reasonable to use in any situation will depend on the threat that you are facing.
