not being funny but i would say in that 15 years you been ferreting you dont do much ferreting if you only had to dig 3 or 4 times think your one of them who hunts in the pubs and at shows and stufff you like to talk about it but you dont no why you think a ferreter allways has a collor on a ferret or a hob with a collor on coz you get blocks a lot so you dig rabbits out and on really cold days sometimes the rabbits will not move so its dig after dig my point is that it seems that people are to keen to get the nocker box out and start digging . the ferret has only been out a few times

dont take this the wrong way mate , but only waiting 10 -15 mins for a ferret thats only been out a few times is in my eyes not long enough , give the ferret time mate , she\he will soon get the hang of moving the bunnys for you . ive ferreted for over 15years and only had i think 3 or 4 digs and that was probably my own fault as i was young at the time and made to much noise , have patience it will be worth it in the long run

wont be long now till the frost is hear , the pics make it look better than it is most of the burrows are still covered in 6foot high bracken , so wont be doing them for a while yet

went out this morning for a couple of hours , was no wind and a bit dull first thing so thought would be ok for a mooch . got to the farm at 830 and the wind got up and out came the sun had a good bit of sport and the dogs are showing more interest every time ,well 1 is the other just isnit interested in ferreting at all just sits by my feet but she mite come round yet nip the fawn bitch picked up two that missed the nets so well pleased with her the other bitch just isnt as fast of the mark , going to start taking them out on there own to see if that will help . anyway pics below
