Ye i heard that A lad from the N.E ran a pure saluki called Kim in the Forley and came out with us a couple of Times on invites His name escapes me,but,the bitch was a red and white feathered bitch bred the same way as my saluki dog? Spoke to Garry .M and he said that's the one they used

Tobey is out of G.M,S dog "Joey"(Joe Hanson's pure saluki "cruise of shildon"x C.N,s "Seagull) back to "Kim" a pure saluki from cruise lines also. Benji is out of "Nipper"(seagull bred) to kim....Good animal

Not arguing Frank, as Sir Terrance who was at the conference will tell you,Tazi,Afghan,sloughi etc are just regional variations of the saluki type adapted to whatever game and terrain their running E.G In his article in Gail Goodmans "saluki coursing hound of the east" he discovered on his travels in the middle east the king of morroco and the saudi,s regularly eaxchange hounds He goes on to display various pictures of different hounds from Turckey(tazi),Morroco(sloughi),africa(Awzaki) and you cant tell the difference
