  1. The minimum age for breeding a dog is exactly the same age at which it's proved itself worthy of breeding. Tha age at which you can breed is way below the age at which you should breed.
  2. Very few people who keep game bred pits or other game bred bull breeds use them for fighting. They are extremely versatile dogs. It's fantastic to see them in peak condition as they should be.
  3. A cheaper alternative to electric collars is to use a can of 'pet corrector'. It gives out a loud hissing noise and distracts the dog from whatever they're doing. It's more effective on some dogs than others and the cans don't last long at all but some people swear by them and say that after a few sprays they didn't need it anymore. One bloke I know just has to show his dog the can and it stops whatever it's doing. I've used it on my (particularly headstrong) dog and it does help but he's becoming less bothered by it now...they're all different I suppose. You can get them on ebay or from p
  4. I can't say I agree but I that's a nice looking dog you have there. A little exaggeration makes for a slightly different dog with a different purpose but I've seen plenty of Bull Terriers that are good for nothing because of too much exaggeration and people breeding without a purpose in mind (other than the show ring).
  5. I'm very proud of him but all I did was find Lyndon Ingles. He's doing a great job of breeding them as they should be...free from exaggeration.
  6. There are still some good strong, athletic, healthy Bull Terriers out there. This is my boy at eight months, he's got a fantastic nose, prey drive and health. He was bred by www.thunderrockoldtymebullbreeds.co.uk . He's not a worker (yet) but some of his litter mates are working and a couple of them are doing very well catching rabbits on the lamp. I know they're never going to beat a lurcher for that sort of work but they will do pretty much whatever you ask of them given the chance. This is him at eight months, 21" and 46lb. Sorry about the size of the photo. This is him at nine m
  7. Thanks Anna, I'll use the search facility in future. As I suspected the working type tend to be less exaggerated and it's good to know people are still using them, they are fearless little characters.
  8. I'm not expecting much response here but I was wondering if anybody uses or has ever used Dachshunds? I know someone with a show bred one and you can't keep the bloody thing out of rabbit holes so the instinct is obviously still there. Are there any working Dachshunds out there? Pictures would be great as I would like to see how the show and working strains differ, thanks.
  9. My vet does it for a tenner, there's no good reason not to have it done really.
  10. I'm not going to have the same argument on two different forums at the same time. If anyone else would like to see this debate go on and on and on please come on over to bullbreeedsonline where I shall be happy to oblige. All are welcome, bring a bottle.
  11. You've all fallen for it too, you're all being played by the master puppetier. You might want to stop spreading rumour and accusation around Ghostlyease and maybe controversy won't follow you wherever you go. This is nothing to do with SACS and you know it but the opportunity to play the victim and slander the people at SACS is too much for you, grow up. I deleted your thread and I told you why, why don't you tell everyone what I said?
  12. Seventh of June, the venue has changed so make sure you know where it is. I'll be going, there will be a few other litter mates there and others from those lines but not that litter.
  13. Not really my work but the work of Lyndon Ingles at www.thunderrockoldtymebullbreeds.co.uk ...Proper bullies.
  14. Just thought I'd keep you updated on him, this is him at five months. He's about 18-19" and 15-16kilos.
  15. I'll be going so it would be nice to see her you and your bitch, Noreen also has one and there may be another one or two there so it would be nice to see them together. Here's a picture of Sonny at 3 months, he's got alot bigger since.
  16. THANKS SHE IS SMART I WAS GOING TO HAVE THE RED BITCH BUT WHEN I SAW HER I HAD HAVE HER, I REMEMBER YOUR WHITE DOG THINK HE WAS THE STRONGEST LOOKING THERE, THIS PUP PLAY FIGHTS ALL DAY WITH MY 8 STONE AMERICAN BULLDOG AND IS NOT FAZED BY HIM AT ALL SHE IS A CREDIT TO LYNDON Same as my boy, he loves playfighting with my stafford, he gets seriously beaten up and still comes back for more. I'm really pleased with his attitude, not aggresive at all but really sure of himself.
  17. She's looking great, one of the best of the litter.
  18. I have an ingles bull, nearly 5 months now. They are superb dogs and I can't say enough about how good they are. James Hinks would be very proud. www.thunderrockoldtymebullbreeds.co.uk
  19. We too have an ingles bred dog from the same litter. Stunner!. Shes 17" 32 lb fit. Shes show bred but full of drive. WHICH BITCH WAS SHE AND HOW IS SHE SHOW BRED Hello mate, I'm Neil's brother and own the ingles bull he's talking about, he's the white boy with the one eye patch, he's coming on brilliant and I'm really impressed with him, incredible dogs. He's 17.5" ATS and 13.5 kilos. I'll get some photos up soon too. I'll leave Neil to explain Lily's breeding although the chances of getting another one like that out of those lines are very slim.
