    I dont understand.... why would anyone keep a bitch that wasnt up to scratch? Theres something very wrong here! And im talking digging dogs only, not including the bolting types which some keep, as they are not expected to stay, and some can be called off. (true, they have their uses, but they are really a failed earthdog in my eyes) I expect the same from both, if I cant dig to the terrier, dog or bitch, it aint a digging dog, and should be put to sleep, or put into a trusted pet home. Theres obviously some crap being bred from terriers that walk from their quarry, and this is no good at

    I have a big birthday on the horizon, and have been lucky enough to get access to some good salmon fishing. I have an entry level rod, but was looking to invest in a new rod. Any suggestions welcome. looking to spend up to £500 on the rod. Good fishing all

    A lad I know is looking for Border bitch to mate with a Non registered Border type dog, The dog has worked with hounds & on estates & is a very hard dog.     Done a bit with hunts mate, the dogs do get used to it as a rule, but some of the more sensetive types are not so keen on the rush, as all the work during the hunting day is rushed. Hunt terrier lads ussualy have good dogs, and it as always handy to have a marker, when you are trying earths without the hounds, as huntsmen tend to get pissed of dragging hound back for a blank. When stopping some lads use dogs that don't stick, so as they can try big places, get a bolt and stop it, which would not be much use to the hard core terrier lad, but invaluble to a pro. Stick in with it though mate

    Anybody out there had experience of crossing labs and GWP, got a GWP bitch, very headstrong, thinking of using a steady lab to get some pups. Don;t want left with pups, think they will be a useful cross ?
