    Having been out with Warrens little pack, i have to say how amazed i was at the control he had over his Bassett crosses.(2 toots on his little whistle and they follow him too heal like the pied piper haha) they really have incredible scenting power and work all the thick leaving no quarry un flushed they have great voice and endlees stamina. Great little grafters they really are a credit to you warren Regards Smart Dog (MR)

    What are the bad points on wheaton crosses? whats there trainability like and also is there plenty of stamina do they open up behind prey i can imagine they have nice strong feet and body structure

    first of all i would like to say well done for you taking the dog on i am well on with Border Lad on this one it is a very flighty type not much lung room so a 3/4grey 1/4 collie possible but even if it is that way crossed he has took more to the grey but your happy your mates happy what does it matter All The Best with your new friend Smart Dog Thanks very much if he were a full greyhound will he still be ok for rabbits and possibly mr long ears? dont see why not mate alot of people used to use greys for coarsing and a close mate of mine runs a greyhound bitch on rab

With a Bit of luck you could get a real good lurcher from this x. bird the pup i have on the way has only a touch of bull in the dam is 5/8 grey 2/8bull 1/8 beddy the sire is fist cross beardie grey

    during the season i get about 5 nights a week lamping depending on the moon phase i also like to be out ferreting and fell walking at least 4 times a week throughout the season then at least 3 times a week on land i do all year round
