    got 11mth. lurcher too, he's a bit off his grub, think it's the weather though, try him on goats milk an porridge for couple of day's, worked for me! p.s. if you feed brown bread, make sure it's stale before you give it to dog, i.e. hard, not mouldy.

    me + mate went to buy terrier off him about 27 yrs. ago, rum old bugger then! said be carefull with dog, he was too hard for certain quarry, white lakeland called boozer, mate wouldn't believe him so entered him in big sett. got him out about 3 hrs. later. first an last dig we had to that dog, len was right. funny guy as well!!

    so where you get your first nets from then??? let me guess, somebody else made them! nob!!! i sold allmy gear twenty odd yrs. ago, lookin to like minded people to help me out. no need to ask you then! do you do any knitting? you sound like an old woman! no i got a net making kit from kp net out of the country mans weekly. but yes i have paid for 13 net in my life 10 hemp rabbit & 1 fox & 2 long nets that someone else made. i have made nets for mates but everyone whants net making begining of winter so you end up making net when all you whant to do at the time is use your net in

    that's why i put that pic up!!!! when i saw that dog thought it's exactly like nigger, but one major difference, any one know what i'm on about? right then nobody knows about gouldy's dog nigger, who's heard of bruce woodcock,s (r.i.p.) toddy, nancy, betsy? if none of you heard of these dog's i give up!!!!!

    IMHO it will never go back to the way it was and rather find a difficult middle way which they tried and is unworkable they'll ban it altogether ..why because its easier that way Have you ever thought of being a bit more positive.I did once but it turned out to be shit. terrier work in the"premier league" has been illegal for almost forty years, has it stopped it? you tell me! there's loads more serious shit coming to the fore nowaday's, surely what we do has got to take a backwards step in priorities for old bill soon?

    if you get a well bred, working stock patt. but most importantly, make sure it's kept busy working, you should have no problems, a good, working terrier usually won't fight with other dogs, terriers that want to fight other dogs, especially when on a lead are usually cowards, just my oppinion no offence meant.

Sorry for the newbie questions but not many diggers across the pond to learn from thought you lot were supposed to be proper terrier men? not ONE of you has mentioned the single most important thing to take on a dig!!!............................. 1 or 2 BIG, GULLIBLE BUILT LIKE A BRICK SHITHOUSE MATES,to do most of the hard work. alot of the time people built like that are as much use as a brick shithouse... :clapping: :11: YES, but they do come in handy for backfilling!
