    hold on, they informed him at the time of rehoming??? how did they trace him? why didn't they trace him before rehoming the dog? and if they informed him at the time (i.e. when the woman had only just got him) surely it would have been right to give it back to him? that is seriously out of order IMO, just shows they're more bothered about the rehoming fee rather than the welfare of the animal! i called the shelter and passed on the info back to the lad who dog it was .

    fecking animal shelters. they drop the guts or balls from animals after 14 days too(well my local ones do). they dont go out of their way to find out if the animal is lost or stolen. if it isnt tattoed or chipped, it must be a stray or dumped.. in my eyes that is 1st class theft, charity my kunting arse!! she had been dressed .

    i bred this bitch she was found wandering and taken into Dundee animal shelter and re homed to an old lady the young lad was informed @ the time .the shelter would not give any infomation to ware she was rehomed as it was after 14 days but did confirm it was the same bitch as her ear was tattoo stamped.
