  1. don't think I have sharpening on my camera. Haha perhaps I do.
  2. I did learn a lot about my camera and settings on youtube there is a lot of tutorials for my camera, probably is for yours as well. I could watch a bit, stop tutorial then continue and go over again till I understood a bit more. Some has sunk in but still got a lot to learn haha
  3. Love your pics Nell. Learning myself, each time I go out I gradually get used to a bit more. Good to have all this advice.

  5. yes have had to undo some images as I have added and added and in the end they look like a cartoon image, trying to rectify mistakes made at the time when photo taken. Must try harder to get better quality photos in the first place. But good fun learning though.

  8. To be honest, I've not actually used Gimp, but a lot of people say it's a good program for basic editing. I believe it's free? so definitely worth a try. Picassa is another freebie and ok if you don't want (or need) to do too much editing & make a lot of fine adjustments. Elements is probably the best basic editing software - it's got all the essential bits of Photoshop CS4 but without all the stuff that most people never use. If you want to work with RAW files Lightroom is good, but I prefer Capture One. When it comes to photo editing less is usually more ok that's great, th

  16. only had my new camera a little while. I found a lot of good tutorials on youtube there were 17 for mine and explained everything in detail as well as general stuff about photography.

  21. yes got my bus pass , was a ferreter till I couldnt crawl through hedges any more. pigeon shooter for a long while and now just starting to air rifle lamp, so learning new hunting and its my birthday Tuesday will be 61 and still ready to rumble after a few haha.
  22. Brilliant post mate, very informative. Sometimes try and trap on my allotment and this helps me as well. Nice to see someone spending so much time and effort to help.
