Hiya My springer pup is out of a Badgercourt bitch and by WintonWildfowl donlalo. She has 61 Field Trial champions in her pedigree and 15 field trial winners.She is already Retrieving well but is doing no obediance work or anything rather than playing yet as she is only 13 weeks. My ten week old springer pup has a large hernia in her groin area.it is about 2 inches long and 1.2 inches wide. Will it have to be removed and if so will she have to be speyed?I wouldn't really like to do this as she has good breeding

I have to find a home for Jake He is affecting my work and I cant give him all the time he needs as I am to busy with my tracking dog. He works like anything and will retrieve a dead rabbit without a mark on it.Brilliant at flushing but runs silent. If anyone knows of somebody looking for a brill little worker please let me know. Jake is 4 years old,rough coat and would work all day.He is fine with other dogs but dont push him. How can I tell if my terrier is to thin I can feel/see all his ribs and back-bone.The butcher said he is fine but I am not to sure. you can't really see in this pic http://i9.tinypic.com/29m7i8p.jpg

Nope I wasn't meant to be on the land and I didn't want to stay to long. I forgot to ask but Jake has insect eggs in his whiskers and I cant get them out..?? Just wondering what every one else feeds thier terriers I feed half a cup of CSJ That'll Do soaked with bits of rabbit,chicken necks,pheasnt..etc with raw bones

My ferrets live on what rabbits,pigoen,pheasant and culled cockerull from the chickens My freezer in the barn is full of rabbit and bones for the dogs at the mo http://tinypic.com/view/?pic=2qb9f04 I chop the rabbit into 3 peices and my two Gills get through a 3rd of a rabbit a day or a whole pigeon or a 3rd of a pheasant. at the moment my freezer is REALLY full of bits of rabbit..etc

I dont know if any people actually hunt with other dogs but my Collie sheltie mix runs like mad and nips the rabbit out into the open for the terrier to catch. I thought it would be interesting to see if any other breeds are used Lad cant be off lead when the lurcher is because the lurcher runs in circles to get away and Lad cuts across the middle and bites him.. He also tracks VERY well for far and has BRILLIANT eye sight Lad (he has his hair clipped) and one of my terrier jake
