j benford owned charlie, i was suppose to match him in fen cup the day charlie tore its tendon and he had to retire, but i couldnt find downham market where we was to run and time i got there after dropping pals off at other match with c moyes he left n rest is history, think it was 1997 season he was aged 4yrs i thought f.h had the sire but not th e grand an great grandsire,was he given to f.h fred owned duke great grandsire, rambo, and charlie, and now has grandson of charlie as stud, he got charlie back as a stud dog after he f****d his leg, charlies sire rambo wasn't a prlific prod

the way people start rippin into others on this site about the price of a pup is a joke, its not like there gettin peddled onto disabled kids is it, theres people on here selling pure salukis 900 a pup because they hav a piece of paper with the parents names on it, remember they hav paid 500 for a line off buddy and these days 500 is the price of a well bred coursing pup, i think 99% of people who are into coursing dogs wud rather pay this for a pup than 900 for summin that maybe has 1 in 20 chance of making anygood

never seen barney run but seen 2 out of the the first litter he bred 1 went on to win spewers cup and other the forley, seen loads out of benji and owned 1 never looked in same class a sbarny ones

benji never matched, barny was properly tested by proper dog men and the pups out of him doing the same now, he was once taken to midville boston january in peak of his career infront of a lot of men and killed two 3 off one slips then another 2 seperate 8/8 on the day

the best benji has produced is a bitch called biscuit sold for 7k, out of benji to a fast type bitch from penrith called storm, biscuit was stolen last year

his brother barney was a better dog made the best in the litter and is producing better dogs at the minute, and is by far the best stud dog about down south but is now not up for public stud
