I'm thinking of getting a lurcher pup but I'm stuck when I go on holidays. Does anyone have any experience on placing their lurcher's in a boarding kennel?
Thanks

I'm thinking of getting some POL light sussex to replace my old warrens as it's coming to the end of their laying life. What's this breed like at laying eggs and do they make good mothers, or should I be looking at a breed like silkies to be rearing chicks ?
Thanks.
I was thinking more of the lines of a collie, whippet, bull, greyhound or something along those lines, as I have seen one of these dogs run and I'm very impressed.
Thanks for the replies.
Just being curious, if I was to have a puppy in the winter months, would I either have to put a heat lamp in the kennel or wait until the warmer months of the year.
The only way I can have a dog see is if it is in a kennel so any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
If in the near future (hopefully) I was to get a lurcher puppy, could I kennel it on it's own or would I have to keep it in the house?
Thanks, Ferreting Mad
I have got a 12 week old jill ferret kit. When I had her at about 6 and a half weeks old she was lovely but when the weeks went passed she started to get nasty. She turns her head around and bites your hand, she even locked onto my thumb and started to shake it. What can I do to stop her from biting me. She also tries to bite if ur hand goes anywhere near her face.
What can I do. Please help.
what I'm saying is ill have one now that is ready to leave the mother and another one once that is ready. So what I'm saying is can I put jills together of different ages.
I'll be having a jill in the next couple of days and there's not a spare one I can have. So I've been offered a jill from another litter which are only 2/3 weeks old. When I get the 2nd ferret can I put them in together straight away.
Everyone says you can use a terrier for huntin rats. But they can't fit down the holes and surely the ras will stay down their burrows. So how do you hiunt rats with terriers.
