I'm looking for a rabbit dog but can catch the odd fox. I've heard that a collie x greyhound x whippet is an ideal rabbit dog. Is this true? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I really want a terrier but I don't know which breed to go for, it must have a good temeperant, doesn't shed much and doesn't smell the house out. And also how do I introduce to working rats, rabbits and how I can use it effectively. Could anyone help me and give me advice.

I was thinking of doing something like that but the dog next door all of a sudden wants my ferret dead. The ferret and me were by the side of the garage and then barking, I just thought that it was barking at another dog walking past butear of the dog jumping over and then it tried jumping the brick wall. I shouted at it and it went away. But I can't even keep the side door open in fear of it having a go at me and my ferret.

I currently have one tame great working hob who is fantastic. All of my friends think that I should breed him so I've decideed to take the plunge. I've already been promised a ferret from either it's mother or sister which I'm planning on spaying. I want a breeding jill so another friend of mine knows somebody in his family who breeds all colurs of ferrets, so I'll be having a jill to mate with my hob. There might be a couple of weeks between the two jills so will it be alright to house them together sraight away? Once the two jills are old enough to defend themselves can I put them with th

I've just been up to the shed to chck on my hob and he's got quite a bad limp on it's right rear leg. There's nothing in his paw and when I let him out of his cage this morning he was all well and good. Please help me as I'm desperate to make hime better...

No I don't think so, the person I got my ferret from breeds them and on'y charges £10 for them but the ferrets he can't get rid of he drops the price to £5

If I vascetomise my hob will he ever be able to produce kits as I've read on the internet that the first year you're guranteed he won't be able to produce but after that year you run the risk of the cells rejoining and then being able to produce kits.

I read somewhere that when the jill is coming into season she won't tolrate being mated with the hob and as they're together will they fight, won't they. Can you also tell me the advantages and disadvantages of having him vascetomised rather then neutering. Thanks..

I really want a Jack Russell for a pet and working dog and I have a few questions? Can I keep it in the house even if it's a working dog? Will it stink the house out as many neighbours hve one dog and their house smells? Will it be O.K in the house on it's own during the day? Will I need more than one dog? Thanks.

I currently have a medium size hob who is just starting to shows signs of being able to breed he was born last June and has been o one ferreting trip and bolted one rabbit. I really want another ferret (a jill). I want to get him neutered so if anyone has any xperience please comment. Also if I was o have the jill it would be a kit. Does anyone have any advice on ow to mix them. Thanks..
