  1. Where are these antis that have flooded the place? It seems that there is a lot of discontent with this site of late so I can only imagine Millet and John have been inundated with pm's from members asking to be removed?? Should you find their inbox full, feel free to use mine There's always another option though and this is to contribute something yourself. Bear in mind the existing rules and post away with your anecdotes and articles. You never know, we might just find the next Peter Ustinov on here! If there are magazines (online or the more traditional type) which you don't
  2. Green Machine.... Have you got your parcel yet my friend? I did send you a green beret with it but your pink friends might have robbed it Seriously though mate, me and Fj are looking forward to seeing you here.

There's a bloke that lives in a small village near Maidstone who has a couple of lovely vardos. He runs a few burger vans and has a bungalow that backs on to woods I used to hunt in. He's made a few bob and has the horses heads on his drive gate and a few modern wagons in his paddock. He clearly has a soft spot for his roots though as the he has two vardos in his front yard. We'd get the gypos land in Beckton for the fair and it was a nightmare when they'd gone...bags of shit everywhere and my old dog was drawn to them like a magnet  They'd drink in the pub in Tesco's car park and
  9. Which writers are you talking about Pip?
  10. We used to catch a few foxes with a bedlington x whippet and a few crap russells about 20 years ago but it'd take all of them to do the job. Later on I had a little lurcher and a couple of terriers that did the job so there's no reason yours can't do the job
  11. Heathrow is on the Picadilly line which I think.....goes straight through to the East End. I remember going from East Ham to Hyde Park Corner once. Now East Ham is Beckton almost so that's way past the Dome... As for hotels....the Lanesborough is nice
  12. Didn't Brian Nuttall once say that the bull couldn't really benefit the terrier but the terrier could benfit the bull....para phrased there slightly
  13. I've yet to see a stafford in Australia that were like that blokes. The ones here seem to be the more show type ie wider and shorter. Not to say they won't work but a bit of leg under them wouldn't go amiss. If you are working heavy cover then a terrier will do a job for you so no reason your russells wouldn't do the same job as that blokes staffs.
  14. Aye he's got a long way to go before he'll be compared to his mam though Tommy. Let's hope he makes it though.
  15. Sorry to hear that J Is that the one you got when I had my pups?
  16. Just got back from a weekend up at Fjager's place where I took the bitch and her pup. There are all sorts of animals up there on the farm so while I was waiting for Fjager to turn up, I thought I'd get a bit of stock breaking in with the pup. First introduction was to the birds. The only bird the pup has seen was a crow, which he killed without hesitation, so I was interested to see how he'd go with the chucks and turkeys He gave a little bark in the back of his throat but apart from that he was as good as gold Next he got the chance to meet one of the bulls and
  17. This was my first Disco, the ice cream van....a beast off road This is the one I have now....a bit more refined but still does the job. Needs better tires though
  18. Hello mate...got an email from Harv Fearnley Whittingstall last week....I take it he's still not taken off in his gypsy caravan to live the Good Life yet then?
  19. Here's one from my great uncle (I think) in the 1940's with his black terrier....poor picture I'm afraid.
  20. Good work mate. Have you had any from over by the walnuts? I think every one I had up there was mangey
  21. The brindle and white one on the right is the dam to the fawn pup on the left.
