  7. these dont sound good mate. keep them seperate so any infection does not spread between them. get some flea powder and cover them, and any bedding in it, if the jill is loosing weight could be a kind of flu, i would 1st check her mouth make sure she can close it properly and has nothing wedged in her teeth or throat, this can happen if fed rabbits ect. try her on an easily digestable food eg bread& milk then put her on proper meat, birds or rabbits. i would do the same with the hob if he is down in condition 2 remove what ticks you can, you could use tick and lice spray used on
  8. think its molecatcher on here, i use both, depending on type of ground im working and access to it, i would use traditional 1st, once u master that quick set will be easier.to set but i find its more bulky to carry far especially if using with ferrets, good luck with it mate lyndon
  9. could explain but you would be far better buying from (peg to peg) read it,read it again, then set your net 2-3 times for practice. then you may be half ready, i comes with practice and experience mate, never found a short cut yet. atb lyndon
  10. i dont bother with a needle when doin purse nets just do them by hand single knots evry time never had a problem. lyndon
  11. SKY NEWS HAVE REVEALED THAT STEVEN GATELEYDIED OF FOOD POISONING, A SOURCE SAID HE WAS LAST SEEN MUNCHING ON A CHOCOLATE STARFISH
  12. ii use it on pigeons 1 drop on skin on neck, used on calves, never used on dogs though, i know it kills cats and not good of ferrets i can tell u where to get it from but i would make sure its ok for dogs. it kills fleas and internal parasites eg worms. atb lyndon
  13. 6 inch nails for pegs, i wrap mine ring 2 ring then in half again should have enough draw cord on nets makes for easy setting. regards lyndon
  14. brilliant, just as i remember. funny how the world seems to change as you get older. i worked 12-14 hr days for nothing (except the occasional bollocking from the keeper) then rode my bike back home 8 miles everyday, and would not have missed a day of it. i wrote letters to every notable estate in the country offering to work as underkeeper for nothing, livin on rabbits and berries if need be. this paid off in the end, BUT HOW MANY KIDS TODAY WOULD EVEN CONSIDER IT.???????? NO I AM NOT THAT OLD (JUST MAD IN TODAYS KIDS EYES). 20YRS TO GO TILL I RETIRE,DOUBT THIS WILL EVER HAPPEN
