  1. I saw one dead that looked like a tabby cat
  2. Why would anyone have a badger & fox in there back yard like that in the first place ?, feeding them i suppose
  3. I agree totally well said I was asked by a neighbours daughter if i would take a ferret a few weeks back , the silly woman did the nose slapping thing every time the ferrret bit , so the ferret just bit harder next time. I always try to look into why they bite , whats wrong, why have they previously not bitten but now do, i suspect this kit was made worse because she does not enjoy other ferret company, i tried her in with my old jill who is very docile & the kit ran round the large pen like a chipmonk jumping from one side to the other screetching, as she was in other ferret com
  4. 'skycat' date='Nov 20 2007, 09:55 AM' post='347155'] Its only water Yeah, but its not like its a nice warm shower or bath! Just hate it when it starts running down the back of my neck and all the way down to m' bum! Ugh! Me? I'm a fair weather hunter dowadays: at least I live in the driest part of the UK Though I don't mind a bit of the wet out lamping: its the only sort of hunting where you don't keep still long enough to get cold. I agree theres nothing worse than peeling off wet clothes , i hate being cold
  5. I like it i found this link , some of its quite interesting http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Lofts/1083/probhead.html#frust
  6. Dont tap her nose it will increase the biting ten fold, if i wre tapped on the nose i would just bit even harder next time, try hand feeeding & then the ferret will think hands are nice in theory Watch her behaviour & maybe you can sus out why she bites rather than just dish out a punnishment, she may just be simply scared of hands due to previous treatment

Leaving someone yet still loving them is the hardest thing. My ex made it easy because there was no trust left and I don't think by the time I left I even still loved him, I wonder now if I ever really did but whats done is done and history. Kay, I really feel for you. I'm not sure what i'd do if I were in your position, I hope one day he comes to his senses and realises that his mum was trying to do right by him. Well all the time i feel as though i failed as a mom, when i met my current husband it was made clear from the start that me & my son came as a package , it was either

Well my current & last husband tried to control me 100% , dictated to me , what i could & couldnt wear , how i had my hair, for a while i towed the line , became depressed & then i flipped my lid & basically stood chin to chin with him , he backed down & the rest is history

I had to make a decision about breaking up the family home 17 yrs ago , being married to an alcholic wasnt easy & i felt terrible for my son , who to this day never got over his bad being removed from the home, even now as a 20 yr old he would never forgive me for not loving his dad, so as soon as he was old enough he went to live with him, now he dosses round all day, is lazy & drinks, i hate to see him waste his life but i did all i could to help him

I suppose a ferreting calender could be organised . a nice one , give the money to a charity , i am sure people would buy a calender full of ordinary people & raise a bit of cash Do people really wear them things ? i lead a sheltered life you see & have never been exposed to such things before
  21. Kay

    oh no
