I doubt I will pick up a dslr again . this camera for me is compact enough to stick in a handbag so I dont have to take a camera bag out with me ... no faffing with lens changes while I am out , theres enough quick find modes on it & 3 manual settings .. a few quirky ones like fish eye & a few others that i tend not to use the zoom on this equates to 840mm optical zoom ... its more than enough for what I need & to be honest if I compare stuff I took on my other camera with a 250mm zoom theres very little difference in quality This camera for me is a winner regarding the s -

First one this year I have seen , its usually a bit later in the year when I see them out with the hinds ... nice to see this little chap though

I have worked in all women & all men environments .. out of the 2 i would much rather work in an all male environment , womens spats can go on for decades at least fellas have there say & then its all forgotton

had a day out on Sunday & had a quick look at a bird of prey display , I managed to get a couple of photos of this bird

Like Mal I have also seen swans move the whole brood on foot to another pond , quite a sight as I sat under a tree minding my own busines in the woods a couple of yrs ago & along comes a swan family

I tried yesterday & I just cant like colour now i spent a couple of hours earlier try to get a shot of a water vole, Never even saw one I have been looking out for the kingfishers .. same here no sign..lol

I had a wander up the farm yesterday to see how the late lambs were coming on so took a few pics, the dog was shoving his rugby ball in me legs so I had no choice but to throw it for him & try & take something approximating a photo at the same time ... a bit of a challange Heres some half decent ones

Got a summer fete tomorrow afternoon.. then a bbq tomorrow evening & Sundays a lie in then a walk out & sunday dinner at the pub .. looking forward to the whole weekend

IxThe deer was about 20 foot away when I spotted it ot took off as soon as it saw me I think. It may have been nursing a calf. The. Butter cup was luck it was rough up the Top of the field so o lay down and kept taking pics and just managed to get the focus right lol

I have planted some cherry tomato plants in my porch , they have already grown a lot , just a quic pic of my little plastic house thing I will post some more as they grow & with a bit of luck it will have tomatos on it

Yes been told it's a 4/3 fitting? Maybe you can get some kind of fitting so you can attach the macro lens then
