It would have been humane to have taken the dog from the street & had it put to sleep , not subject it to another 2 days of being ignored

I believe in nature being the best way too, and yeah the mum of lots of species seem to just know when something isn't right and either end it .. or like in your case, dispose of it because she just knew .... as to the spread out birthing thing... i was told recently ( admittedly i didn't know the person from Adam so i cant garentee the source) that if you wanted a small litter leave the jill in with the hob for 24 hours, 3 days for a bigger litter etc... I know your not Gilly there £35 a go!!The website is Ferret cotoure it,s a fuzzy bunny hugger site but the ferrets will love the hammock type thing....any credability i had has just went for a burton Thats a posh shop for ferrets

I dont think people could afford to feed them as a staple unless you only have 1 ferret or maybe 2 , if you say feed 3 a day on average per ferret

if he cared that much he would of just ended the dogs life, not stuck it in some gallery for the world to see, how can something on the streets you see everyday be out of sight? surley you must pass all the street dogs on the way to the exbition Ditto

But do you honestly think anyone who saw that dog at this exibition would go from there & start to do something about the strays , because i dont I could perhaps would have not felt so angry if there had been litereture there indicating the plight of these dogs & it was visable , but if there was i nore no one else could do either, so to me its not made people aware of the other starving dogs , you only have to read the comments of thoese who signed to see that they hadnt seen it either

So its acceptable to have an oviously dying dog on display & label it as art to get a point over about the millions of others , yeah right it is

i cant see any harm if there fed as part of a varied diet but i wouldnt feed them as a staple

i have 2 i woukld love to have covered over as there so old now but i dont really know what drives people to want to totally cover there bodys in them , mind it seemed to hide the wrinkles so may thats why she did it
