    They were not stolen, ran off from home and wouldn't come back when called. They were seen in woods close to home and again ran off. Here is a bit from the doglost site, Hope they havn't got a taste for freedom!

    We now know that both the dogs were picked up by a lady in a red peugeot 306 she already had a black lab in the car and probably thought she was doing the right thing by saving these from causing an accident but no one knows where she then took them. This happened on the 9th Dec they outside the Wheatsheaf pub in Braishfield.

    This needs bumping again, seems to have ground to a halt after your post Brookie. I honestly don't think this theftb is anything like the serious stuff that yours were involved in, this seems more like an opportunist one, local lads saw a nice looking dog and just picked him up. Shame they didn't do the right thing and hand him in so that he could have been scanned or had his tattoos checked, never too late though.

Might be worth contacting other owners in your area who have had the same happen to them recently, if you go on the doglost site and search lost in post code area BH12 it will bring some up.

    And Railtrack still can't get it right, they phoned the co-ordintor today, gave her the name of the cotractors who disposed of the body then phoned her back to say they may have given her the wrong name

    PLEASE ALL READ UPDATE ON THE DOGLOST LINK I now appears the body on the railway may NOT have been Mintaka so the search is back on. Deertracker, this must be a nightmare for you, I have spoken to Ruth today and we will do all we can to git to the bottom of the complete b*****p Railtrack have made of this.

    What area is the found one that the dog warden phoned you about? Could she be one of the other 3 that were stolen near you? Owner of them has said that his is identicle to your Fly.
