    Get out there with an inflatable and a glass bottom bucket..( you can make these yourself..)also get something like an extendable rake...not for raking weed but for taping the bottom...there will be spots that nobody has found..i guarantee it..not easy to do if others are fishing but not impossible to do...if possible borrow an echo sounder this will cut down the time you will spend in the boat as it will show weed on the screen...its a lot of work..but it depends how much you want it...knowing the lake bed is the best edge you can have.

    bought 1 off eBay 2 weeks ago...paid £105 for it...but would have quite happily paid £150...if you drop on someone who really need one, they will pay it...

    can you go out on a boat/inflatable...how deep is the lake in general...? How much time do you have to fish the place..?is the water clear...?

    Depends where we are and how long were out for... If it an hour out with the terrier and a few nets then the ferret goes in a bag and in my poachers pocket... If your out for the full day in all weather then its a box...simples

    My lads terrier retrieved a pigeon that he had shot 2 days ago... the bird was flapping about and the terrier got a bit carried away and ended up with a gob full of chest feathers... She was soon coughing like she had one stuck, i thought she would soon dislodge it herself but she hasn't and the cough is getting a bit worse...what do you think lads...? what should i do..?
