    I take it Bruce is your lurcher?...this is where the basic training as a pup pays of mate as I'm sure you know...a well trained dog is def an advantage ...I'm sure you'll sort him out He only does it at the beach, out in the fields he's no bother, but then he's one of those dogs that retrieves live to hand, but wont entertain retrieving balls or sticks!!!! But at least he does it where he's meant too!!!!.....

    Whilst down the beach today had a bit of a stalemate with Bruce...... .......he wanted to go back to the car, but i wanted him to come to me before we went back!!!! So i sat down with the 2 gundogs and waited for him to come over!!!!!!!!!!! For the first 10 mins he just stood there looking across the beach at us, then he thought he'd dig his heels in and he decided to sit too......... After 30 mins it all got too much for him and he faced the walk of shame back to the car on the lead........little twat!!!!! The gundogs do it fine and think its great sitting and staying for you
