  1. Glens bred from dunphys stuff in the 80s are still there In small numbers I hunt with a few every single season they’re a dying breed though I’m not sure about Wheaton’s with a dwarf gene as my friend has kept bred and worked Wheaton’s for 40 odd years and I’ve never seen a pup that looks like a proper glen

I'd say very little, but maybe I'm wrong !! My experience of people like Neil is they are dreamers and alot of the time they believe there own lies !!! There is a guy that lives in my village that act's like Neil all sweetness and nice, he used to tell lies about a local pub owner until he found himself in court for slander. It's funny how thing's go.

Sad fact of the matter is kevin and pat are two gentlemen if the truth is told but there's always someone with an axe to grind

Butler i like the way you think, I've got one bitch in this yard thats as dull as two fish, i don't work her often and cringe when i put her in the ground. I lost a dog a few years back that was seven years old, i lost him while we were still in cubbing "pre ban" when i phoned my digging partner of the time he went off phone and came back to tell me that i'de dug fifty five with him so far that season, he never got knocked up and in the five good years work i had with him he'd only lost one tooth. Hard dogs may have their uses but in the long run i'de sooner have my bayers, hard dogs only impress idiots and kids.

You had dug 55 with him already that season and you were still cubbing ?

Different men have different ideas all right to that man to me a fox only is just that it stays with the fox til dug or until the fox bolts from the pressure put on it by the terrier but in my eyes if you can call a dog out there will always be the doubt that it might walk without the call in my opinon it's a failed dog with no purpose or a dog that does ten or twenty mins then walks and the fox bolts it is more luck than the terriers ability another failed dog in my eyes with no pourpose and with the advances in technology there are not many earths that are undiggable an I mean earths not rock piles or such if you have a few decent men with decent dogs you will dig most earths it just depends on your commitment again only my opinion
