  1. alot depends on the mono and scope as geoff says the longer the eye refeil to start with the more natural it is personaly i don't find it to much of a compermise but tryed me mates archer and that is just uncomfortable
  2. £1500 need the money for a van
  3. Me van has gone tits up so something has to go and unfortunatly this is it so here we have my used gen 3 monocular in good woring order and with a very clear tube as you can see in the pictures sorry about the quality but they are taken though my mobile. The image through the tube was taken last night in over cast conditions with no extra ir, make is mini nseas used by the austrailian miltary ( nout to look at but could be run over by a tank) the tube is clear and image is crisp and any inspection is welcomed, have been told this is a photonis XD4 tube. i would prefer to do the deal in per
  4. i started with gen 1 on an air rifle and to be honest i found it a waste of time but i have seen it used very sucessfully, imo the way to look at it is how much have you got to spend and how far do you need to shoot and spot. the is also the digital stuff i personal have never used it but it is getting good reviews. also look second hand i sold a gen2 unit that would have got you out to 150 yards with a laser for 500 recently so there is stuff out there
  5. have to say i found the focus less fussy with a laser on the ranger pro but not tried a lamp
  6. as said above realy if noise isn't an issue to neighbours then stick with the 17 bunnies arent to worried by it at night it's as if they dont now where it's come from. range estimation is a nightmare with nv even with gen3 it don't get no better
  7. not sure if your still looking fella but i've just got an envis i'm still tring to get it set up properly but your welcome to come and have a look Dave
  8. i think it depends on the fitting if it's a surface only bottle which it should be from a gun dealer then you don't need a certificate if' it's for breathing air then you will

  17. there is some good kit out there depending on what it's going on and the range you are after the biggest thing is the weight of some of the batteries and being attached to the rifle i use the deben tactical with stock mounted battery for that very reason i hate the ones that are belt mounted but hey do last longer and give more power
  18. yeah can be done mate but far easier with the shotty head shots are tricky as they are like them dogs in the back of cars

  22. when you say tune it fella what are you after if it's sub 12 and you are just after more shots and consistancy then it's not to bad the reg can normaly be tweaked from the factory settings and the valve can be changed for better after market ones not the white Sh*t they sell on The Bay if your fac then it gets more options new here so don't know how this site works so not gonna say to much on that side of it mate. if you need help for where to get bits etc let me know Dave
