    Unlike scarecrow243 11 Oct 2012 Hi my v6 2.5 litre does does between odd to 100 odd miles for 20 quid it depends the way you drive them Why the v6 would the diesel not be cheaper to run?

    Hi what permanent covers have you planted .Wolfie we planted areas of snowberry,dogwood,gorse,blackthorn,lonicera and hazel then followed it with rows of canary grass,artichoke and chicory.though the areas of chicory and canary grass need renewing occasionally. Would any of these be suitable for planting in a hardwood to try and hold birds it needs cover in the winter months

    Me and my mate have 2 duck ponds we have leased one is absolutely perfect the other we aint so sure what to do we have been told that duck use it but its surrounded by trees and has an island that is covered in trees. It is abit deep so was thinking of lowering the levels and chopping down the trees on the island but i think shooting it would be hard work on the darkning due to the close proximity of the trees and advice would be most helpfull!

    I like the look of the red cedar could be a nice thick screening/cover there all I'm looking for is the last part of the wood thick with cover to hold birds when beating through

    Think I might be leaning towards a disco td5 there seems to be some good deals around 2000-2500 if I can get one the low end of 100,000 miles if be delighted!!!

    Where can I get my shotgun barrels stripped and re-blued someone told me that I should ask engineering workshops as some of them do it but none round my way does this

    only bit of damage i saw was on a canada he brought back last sat but that was minimal plus i think that he grabbed the open wound on the bird and ripped it a bit and a spaniel that can fetch a big honker back anit doin to bad

    There is definetly no rib damage its more a case of wrestle the bird into position i think but gets overly anxious at doing it i think he may be in a hurry to bring it back to me for a pat on the head and some praise

    only had 1 runner this year, he will pick cold game up no problem its just when they have been shot any ideas on how to cure this?? no rib damage just the feathers coming out!!

    My 3 year old spaniel is starting to get a bit hard mouthed with game mainly warm pheasant he seems to wrestle them about till he can pick them up and some feathers come out any tips?? I think going pigeon shooting when he was young may have taught him this habit as pigeons are very soft and he would always end up with a mouthfull of feathers!!

    why do you have to put your BOP in an aviary for a few month during the moult can you not fly the bird during the summer months?? Do you still excercise your birds during this process??
