totally agree mate HMmmmm....... I'd say their use would be a lot better than some of the methods of "correction" that I've seen applied. Think we all have to accept that this is one of those arguments that will totally divide all dog men. Never used one myself but am seriously considering it for a spaniel thats developed a taste for hunting in the next county

Have you considered that most syndicates are made up of working men from normal backgrounds some of which work damed hard to be in a syndicate toffs with dosh don't need syndicates they have their own land and buy days shooting can't see many of them filling hoppers in their savile row suits Well said Danw, was going to say the same myself until I got to your post. Most of the above faults relate to the 300tdi. The DISCOVERY TD5 (not defender) has a couple of fairly serious issues, the biggest being warped heads (cant be skimmed, head cost £900 alone) and the other is duff injectors ( a full set new is circa £2000 !!!!). Check these and you'll only be in for minor ish faults

Handful of posts or not, I know that sellers need to state a price , it's a fairly standard rule on most forums, you know your goods, you set the bar. As for me giving you "grief" I prefer to think of it as providing a learning experience (that you haven't taken on board yet) you obviously don't want it but you certainly do need it, you still haven't stated a price! As for me "not bothering to respond" Paraphrasing your own words; I'm also entitled to express an opinion. Good luck with the sale!! go and bother somebody else please
