The fact your dog comes out regular shows the standard needed for you type of work. No dog could handle that many foxes unless it was a 5 minute wonder like yours seems to be. I've been toying with the idea of getting a fast coursing dog just for lamping hares. We see loads of hares so a dog that can murder these for fun would be handy. Its the daywalkers that spoil it for us lampers by bringing the heat on. Daytime coursing is like watching paint dry. Watching a hare run for 5 mins til it's ready to drop is like watching England playing football

What was the book called ur referring to? I think most of the 'belter stories' on here are just that - stories.... There's plenty of scope for an active imagination to come up with a book, big up the wonder dogs & they become overnight legends. That has been proven on here time & again. Think Darcy has probably got his literary plans in place for a while yet. No need for anymore books yet

This bloke is a 1st class clown, I was unfortunate to read his working terrier book. He wanted to fill Plummers void & so managed to bag a column spouting his garbage in the pretenders weekly. He stated that "here in the fells", a dog that stays to his fox is not much use as most places are undiggable, his dogs will stay a couple of hours so is this him making excuses for his own low standards? What does this say for Middletons dogs? Don't encourage him to write anymore shite than he already has therefore don't waste your money
