  1. hello there , having had a go at putting english yew scales on a damascus bush craft blank ive polished the pattern off the top and bottom of the tang , well id say sanded off really while working on the handle , the blade it self a bit dull with all the handling too , ive watched a few videos on youtube , using boiling vinagar or ferric chloride to re etch ? the thing is how do i etch the exposed edges of the tang ? wont the vinagar or chemicals ruin the scales ? might sound a daft question ,but i know theres a fair few of you lads who know what your doing with this sort of stuff , cheers

  4. as title really , these are what i kept from what i hatched earlier in the year , i thought there was a trio at 1st but now there getting older i aint so sure , im not too good at sexing chicks and have made mistakes before . have a look what you lads think ? i thought the black 1 and the cream 1 were pullets and the other 1 a cockeral , the black n white 1 is the brood hen
  5. when i make pork pies , i put a bit of chicken stock in the gelatine , just to make the jelly bit different

  7. i ay gona say it was a leopard , but definatly wasnt no domestic cat , apparently theres sightings every day being reported
  8. hello there , anyone know much about these big black cats on anglesy. I was driving back from a boat fishing trip last week , near pentraeth , saw it walking across stubble , about 3ft long with a tail around the same lenght , ive heard of some smaller wild cats down there but nothing like i saw . ive done a bit of research on google and it seems theres been loads of sightings of simalar animals , livestock killed etc .apparantly, locals saying its a black leopard living in rural forests .

  10. yea it realy is just over 8weeks , big i know , but 8weeks non the less , the breeder is a local lad , friend of a friend like , my mates got a black dog out the litter ands its bigger still , all i can say is the whole litter is a credit to the lad who bred um ,

  14. ive had this asil hen a while now , struggled to get a decent cock this year to tread her but after a few problems the hen sat and hatched her 1st brood , she threw an egg out the nest 2days early , maybe she knew something i didnt , hatched 6 in total , unsure of sex yet but i thinking theres 2 pullets and 4 cockerals , pics not the best shamo cock , asil hen
  15. most of my early stuff bolted and went all straggley in that last sun, now the slugs and snails are near wiping me out , had some nice strawberrys but they seem to have gave up now , , carrots and onions coming on slowly , greenhouse not to bad , toms courgettes cucumbers doin ok , sweet and chilli peppers are bad so far , and me sunflowers have finished and gone to seed , long sunny days we need !!
