went out again today after looking on google maps satelite thought id give a corner of my permission a look at as iv left the area for a while because there are usually no rabbits during the day but its good at night and because its a bit of a walk. to my suprise there was a massive mound that was completely over grown and at least 10 rabbits in sight of front side as it is like a square shape, stalked up to about 35yards through the long grass took a shot at a bigger one it dropped now about 3 medium sized rabbits still out got one everything went in, peered round the corner to see about 7 ra

thanks for the replys, the reason i thought it was a hare was because of the size and it had black tips on its ears but only the outside thanks oli

decided to go over to my permision yesterday around 6ish, to my suprise there was not much about unlike normally, as i went into the first field i saw a fox but no rabbits, second field nothing, started walking back and saw a hare on the green so stalked it up the hedge line with no intention on being able to get close enough with out spooking it but suprisingly i managed it took a shot between the eye and the ear thwack it was dead. i later found out that my friend was also out and shot 3 rabbits, that explains. and thought id also put another pic up of a day that me and my friend managed

i seem to have a problem with small rabbits eventhough i get a decent head shot that brings down fully grown rabbits, they just manage to kick themself back to the burrow

thanks for the advice as iv not a clue in this sort of area but if it trys to go down rabbit holes it will probably try to go down fox and bader sets? i will keep him on a lead around those sort of areas

i want to start my dog jack russel ratting but i am concerned about taking him out near fox and badger holes as i had to pull him out of numerous rabbit holes when walking him, should i worry about this as i dont know much about this thanks oli

i just wondered do many of you get baby rabbits out of the hole and what you do with them as we went out yesterday got 10 full size but had 3 babys hop out of different holes oli

im going out rbbit shooting today not lamping has anyone got any advice on stalking them and getting closer for a good shot and also could you leave a dead rabbit out as a decoy oli

i go out most weekends shooting, trying to shoot rabbits but i barely get much, i usually go out with 1 to 2 people and we walk round the fields, i think i do need to change the things im doing like now i will try to go out on my own build some hides but wondered if anyone has any tips to improve my shooting thanks oli

i have just bought a new bsa t10 on saturday and used all off the air over the weekend, so i took it to a local gun shop to nite, they asked me wether i had a filling probe, should it have come with the un or is it built in some how, they also said it would cost£4.50 is that too much? thanks oli
