I'd usually agree 100%, but he's old enough to be disrespectful & the give the shit out in other threads... What thread would this be then? lab tastic is right i wouldnt call it slow and boring, it is very fustrating sometimes, but its worth it for the feeling when you have a good round and some nice shots, if you've never played before i would go to a golf range and get some practice first. i've been playing for a few years and dont play that often anymore, and also think positively: lots of permission to be had by a respected member

where abouts in herts just out of interest, i may know where the place, and if the resovoir isnt fished and doesnt have any syndicate use then go for it, i just assumed that it was a resovoir that was fished by people e.g. a syndicate or the public but i'm guessing now that it is owned by a water company with no fishing allowed, am i right?

i am looking to get a tweed jacket for under £100, something that will look the part. i have seen them at game fairs for around £60 but didnt know what the quality was like so didnt buy, i also saw someone advertising on here their business that sells these jackets but cant find it. i'v never had tweed before, how hard wearing is it and warm? whats the difference between the £300 barour and musto ones and the cheaper ones or am i better off with something like a seeland beater jacket any help or suggestions much appreciated thanks olim

no realtree is not the best although i have the full realtree kit i always used to get better results with a green barbour wax cotton and a pair of waterproof green trousers, its comen sense really it all depends what enviroment your in and i'm normally stalking hedge rows with green grass beneath me and greenish hedgerow, so basically its good but not always the best

not skilled enough to catch using a rod, its what polish people do, it just pisses proper fishermen and the rangers off. if you get found doing it you wont be on that resovoir for long and where are you?

why are you knocking him for trying to get a bit of permission, i understand everyone will be defensive about their permission but how does he know that it is already taken by you. you should of had the balls to tell him that its all your permission around there or of been nice enough about it and said sorry but all of the land around here is taken. i'm sure that when you wanted permission someone knocked on your front door and asked you if you would like permission nice to see you welcoming people to the sport
