LOL I reckon any dog that is bred the right way will turn out to be a good all round lurcher. it depends on how experienced you are with a lamp in your hands i suppose once youve got game moving weather it be rabbits hares deer fox whatever it keeps moving you know the saying softly softly catch a monkey you will see more id give the game up if i had to race around ground in a vehicle noisey as feck and scaring game away from the next field and so on at the end of the day its wild animals we are hunting and the more noise you make and more light you create the more likely they are to head for home

the way to kill rabbits in numbers is to walk the land his method of lamping is bull shit two dogs running loose not retrieving munching rabbits up on the deck or playing tug of war with em not my cup of tea all that noise and dogs running loose id leave em where they were id couldnt be messing with rubbish like that i do a lot of poaching and we do a lot of land if its done right you aint long clearing out a lot of land pretty sharpish but not driving around in a noisy old diesel landy making that much noise especially over stubble how many is he pushing in and not seeing
