    I’m not having a go here but if you need to ask such a basic question you need to find a mentor long before you think of getting a bird. If you cant get a mentor join a club it’ll be money well spent. Good luck with your new hobby.

    Instead of wasting money on endless books just buy Understanding the bird of pray buy Nick Fox it’s around £50 from amerzon. It’s the only book you will ever need.

    There’s no substitute for a real gun light I would recommend the clulight range. In my option you cant have too much light.

    I use a single shot Ultra there’s no problem loading it even in the dark in fact I find it easer to load than a AA s400. if at the end of the day you feel you need a multi there only an extra 70 quid.

    I for one think this is a better idea than someone or indeed a group buying one to post around. I have a basic chrono that I’ll happily test any one’s gun on. So in short I feel a register of owners is a good idea. Pete

    Hi Why not pop along to a local gun shop and have it checked out. My local gunsmith charged me £6 to pump up my HW90 and I got a printed chrono report. Pete

    There is a conversion in the pipeline it’s all a little hush hush at the moment I’m hoping the guy working on it will have a production version on sale by Christmas.

    Thumb hole stock for a HW90 As 90 owners know the thumb hole stock is a rare item grab this one while you can. The stock has some very light surface marks (I can’t get them to show up in a photo) it also has a stud to fit a sling. All in all this is a very nice stock It’s noticeably lighter than the usual 90 item something all 90 owners will appreciate.     As stated by others mixi is spread by biting flying insects a pregnant doe wont pass the disease on to her unborn young but as soon as the doe dies they will die anyway. Any young rabbits that are still suckling will starve to death when mum dies.

    I got one of the Tesco torches (£10 now) made a scope mount and went out Friday night to give it a try, all I will say is I must have been spoilt by my night blaster. Pete (still in the dark)

    My wife got me one of the electronic gadgets from Lloyds pharmacy it look like two small fingers that you put up your nose, it increases the blood flow in the nose that stops your body making histamine bingo it works like a dream. Ps it’s £15 and if it doesn’t work you get your money back.

    Hi all I’m after some opinions on what’s the best gun lamp, at the moment I use a hand held Optronics 400 000 night blaster this means one person lamps and the other shoots. In the past I’ve had a tracer atom that soon went in the bin the stupid switch and wire all over the place made it more trouble than it was worth. So what’s worth buying and why?
