    If the current trend continues,often with the assistance of some who do the extra curriculars , I think sadly you may be right,I would guess that in 20 years or so a lad with a running dog will be looked upon with the same sense of censure as a badger baiter/dogfighter.I would like to think that there will allways be a youngster slipping out with his dog trying to catch a bunny but I have my doubts. I think in some regions we are at that state now,,,,,,,,,, maybe in the near future we will have to walk the lanes and fields with dogs that dont look capapable of killing a hare......Just a

    My old mate used to run on some nice old fashioned types in the late 70s up until he got ill quite recent, He would walk down the backs when it had just got dark and just let the dogs hunt about and catch on there stealth.Top class pot fillers these dogs were, I will get some pics sorted..

    Mine couldnt. Although i forgot to add they were both under five months when the ban came in..so neither has killed a hare pre ban.

    The fawn dog and the black and white dog look weak and very narrow over the front. It may be the picture though so dont see this as scathing criticism, Heres my black dog nice n strong not overly big compared to some whippets these days and he is neither to heavy,,Packed with stamina.......
