  1. You forgot to include your rifle in the photo.
  2. inan I think the way the media and some fieldsports people are portraying poachers at the moment is negative. Its far to easy to blame it all on poachers! not all poachers drive around the countryside with total disregard for everyone and everything they come across. Was this ban made legal because of the attention the poachers were getting? no it was passed because of the attention of fox hunting with hounds and organised coursing meetings gave to hunting with dogs! Would poaching be getting all this negative attention if there was no ban? I dont think so. Like it or not we are all lumped

  6. Max I agree with that, I spoke to a keeper on a big estate not to far from us a few year ago and he said to me "if the estate gets trouble with poachers we have a shooting drive and everthing what lifts is shot" A friend of mine has some good runnning ground for "rabbits",we asked about a spot of lamping ,as they are overurn with bunnies ,we confidently expected a yes please!,We were told by the Keeper he is out at least twice a week due to poachers ,running the deer ,firing crossbows at all and sundry, and ploughing through new laid fields of wheat in 4x4s.Result no lamping! My nearest perm
  7. Come on inan dont start blaming it all on the poachers again! We are all in this current mess together. Coursing hares daylight with or without permision attracted more attention than poachers when the antis were campaigning for the ban! Poaching may be attracting the attention now but I think that has a lot to do with the ban. As for people losing there permision because of poaching, the landowners who are taking away there permision must be very shallow! Im just putting the other side of the argument Joe.If you think a farmer being threatened ,his gates and fences being knocked down b
