    Ive been shooting near on 10 years now and have only ever come across one golden lab, it was a peg dog, but ive never seen any in the beating line, fox red, black and white labs yes but never golden.

    I personaly would leave him with the trainer, if the trainer is worth his salt he will take on board your comments and know how to treat your dog while you are away then when you return introduce you to the training he has started and you cantake it from there, i know many friends who have sent their dogs away to be trained and when theyve come back, months later, they have bonded very well with their original owner and gone on to be fab dogs. Indeed my ESS bitch was 3 when i bought her fully trained, having spent lots of time with her initialy and worked her as often as i could shes a lovely

    Generous offer that mate, wish i lived a bit closer. Have you tried NOBS or PUBS, they should be able to sort you out some experienced beaters who work dogs.

    There good at giving it large when theres a group of them, get one on his own and he'll swear on the bible hes a christian, not a backbone between them all. Their skin colour and religion is all theyve got to hide behind, not one will stand up for it when its one on one. When they used to call me a racist on the front door of my own club when i used to knock them back id say, 'yeah i am, what you going to do?', they were that stunned that someone had admitted it they fooked off, too used to people pussy footing around them say, no no no im not a racist, my best friends an asian, load of b0ll0x

    This has been going on longer than people realise, in 95 i used to run a very large and well known nightclub in Bradford, regular;y my white female staff were sexually assaulted on the way into work, in daylight, were the Police interested, were they Fook. Similarly any asian problem reported to the Police went like this 'we are a bit busy at the moment, we'll get someone there as soon as we can' (nothing less than 2 hours), any problems involving white males and the Police were out within 5 mins.     Was talking to one of the guys i beat with on our shoot who likes a few shooting trips each season for a bit of a change of scenery. He was talking about a trip to scotland to do some wildfowling and possibly some rough shooting during the day during the next shooting season. We would be looking for a 2 - 4 days with a morning and an evening flight, mainly for geese, with possibly (but not essential) some rough shooting during the day. If anyone knows anyone or anywhere were we can get this kind of shooting either reply to post or pm prices etc. I would be very much grateful, cheers lads &

    Saw our local cricket team helping people pack their food in bags at the local sainsburys, they each had a collection bucket next to them. Must have raised a few quid.

    Buy a cook book lol, or go to shooting times website and download all their recipes, i think theres about 50 odd pages of them.

    I work for NT and dont know of any land they lease the shooting rights too, although i have been asked to do a bit of vermin control every now and then.

    Put this rotten year behind me and move my new business venture forward whilst getting fitter, cutting down on the drink and enjoying life a bit more, ive taken it far too serious over the last few years and its done nothing for me.

    Before i venture out and start my new year door knocking campaign to seek some permission i thought id make a start here. Looking for any farm land for pest control, pigeon shooting and rough shooting in and around Worksop. Fully insured and a syndicate member which shoot over farmland so i fully respect a working farm.

    Local shoot to me was getting .50p a brace Local farmshop selling them dressed and vac packed for £3.65 so theres not much margin in it.

    exactly what i was about to say! Think your right actually and dont know why i didnt mention it , if its to an outlet thats serving it to the public im sure the dept of health would want traceabilty back to where it came from.
