Have you seen that episode with the patterdale on it who opens the oven, climbs on the oven,opens the draw climbs on that,opens the microwave eats the food then takes a p*** on the breadbin lol

my pat hates horses with a passion,no matter how much i tried to socialise him and take him around them he still goes for them.was only the other day he jumped up and snapped at a horses face,luckily pulled him down split second before he snapped,or that could have been tricky because he doesnt tend to let go . Maybe he sences it from me,because im not too keen on horses myself lol.

Is it me or since Concervatives have come to power fox attacks are now being spoken about and broadcast by the Media. Now concidering the Government decide what the media are allowed to publish,does this mean that Labour,who made the hunting ban,kept all of this quiet.Concervatives,who were against the ban are allowing it to be published,sounds like they want more and more support before they try a re-appeal to me. Your thoughts?

i think there should be a tight community between british patterdale breeders,i even see some chav with one on some programme the other day.theres a couple on animal behaviour programmes like "its me or the dog" and "the Dog Whisperer" The breed will soon be out of hand and fecked up like the staff now is.

my nuttall is a great worker,he isnt scarred like f**k,but that doesnt mean he isnt a good worker.His from nuttall lines either way i wouldnt swap him for any other patterdale.

I never new they hunted Taliban with Terriers! I might sign up! along with the spaniels and labradors,there are a few terriers amongst them aparently. Maybe we should all sign up,i dont understand why every squad doesnt take a dog with them anyway?

problem is SOME terriers are still wagging their tails as they sink their teeth in to another dog, my patt walks up to other dogs tail wagging if its a bitch hes fine but if its a male......... i see what you mean,thats why you need to understand other body language on a dog.Dogs ccant control there tails (so ive read) so they cant fake what there tail is doing(thats why some dogs chase there tails). I tend to just stick mine on a lead if i see somebody elses dog and ill let him sniff it.Obviously some People are complete r3t4rds and let there dog walk right up to yours and then moan w

my cousin whos in dog handlers section in afghanistan said they have a couple of patterdales over there used for drugs & bomb detection on vehicles and people.

if you want him to seriously stop going after dogs take him to a park thats packed with people walking there dogs,keep him on a lead and only let him sniff them,if his tail is wagging then his fine to let him go and sniff,if its not then just keep walking.that should get him better with other dogs.But they do need a good hiding before they start to listen to you. Mine was still attacking dogs up untill it was about 5.never socialised him with other dogs much.he was good with our jack and a couple of other dogs but that was it. But if its a pup a smack should do it.

Dont know if they are hard to treat,i would have thought they would be the same as anything else to treat.And i ment about selling the meat to the butcher not the pelt

Do any of you sell the pelts or even the rabbit to a butchers? if so how much do you get for them?i looked on ebay just out of curiosity and a man had them on there for £7 a pelt.

we never worked our male patt till he was five,he picked it up without even watching another dog.Always had the natural ability,was just not able to work him often enough.

I dont hunt,i like to,but rarely will i get too.But even i can tell thats bullshit,the words they use such as thugs,mobs ruthless,evil,sick etc are easily noticable,so anybody who actually believes it isnt even worth arguing with.as for stuff like,they hunt them in the rain because their sences are worse well thats a load of shit because rain strengthens the scent of animals.IF this is happening up there and they are telling the truth,its most likely teens with there staffs/pitbulls etc and are just using them to kill animals instead of other dogs and that sort of shit will most likely be blam

So mine is the right size for a 7 year old? Mines from the nuttall lines if that makes any difference .
