  1. I still disagree with the indicators. Because what happened when people had bikes without them? They still pass MOT's. Look at people who use track bikes with daylight MOTs.
  2. Erm... Horn? And do you really need indicators? Good old hand signals?
  3. Good luck with it mate. There's hardly any spaces now for tests before the deadline, which is the end of the month. They're bringing in a higher price for the test aswell, will be £90.50 then, but only going up in October apparently.
  4. All depends when you are going to do your test. If you're in no rush, you'd be better off doing lessons with an instructor to take into account the off-road section of the test. As I said, DAS won't matter to you because of your age, so it's up to you when you want to do your test. I'd personally try and get it done before the end of the month though, so you can sit the "easier" test, just ring an instructor and ask him can you do a quick assessment. If you're confident about your bike skills, you should fly through it EDIT> Just seen your last post. Ever considered an XR400 w/ superm
  5. I read that, so I'll let you know when I've tried it
  6. I saw it, funny when a game keeper is being told how to set snares by a special lad from a family of poachers
  7. Mine doesn't. Won't go all the way in with the bipod mounted on the underlever. Am I better off looking for a hard case, or just detatch and reattatch the sling every time I go to use it?
  8. Changes end of this month, so you have to do an off-road section of the test too. Doesn't affect you, but DAS is abolished too, meaning whatever your age, you'll have to do 2 years restriction.
  9. Hi all, Thanks for the advice. Bought it on eBay, think someone else has bought it from HK to be honest, then sold it on. Is it worth mounting it temporarily to the underlever, as that's where the sling forward mount is? Also, any ideas on a gunbag that will fit it in with the bipod still attatched?
  10. Hi all, I've got this bipod below, and was wondering if it could be fitted to the HW77k somehow. Any suggestions? Thanks.
  11. You've done the right thing in my opinion. Not worth risking the hassle. Just a shame people can't keep their nose out of other peoples business

    KNIFE £2.50

You've paid £2.50, yet they are on there for almost £5? Why don't you get a few and sell them for £4.50 delivered? Haha
  13. Done the right thing if it were overrun with Mixy in my opinion
  14. I dunno, I just thought it may spark conversation on here, was surprised to see it in the local news, usually it's stabbings, beatings, etc.
  15. Sounds like the lads got a claim going through against the police to me... "It is in the hands of our insurers"?
  16. Taken from my local rag. http://www.wigantoday.net/wigannews/Gun-po...ters.5009173.jp
  17. I had a right horrible thought it was going to be Marky Mark Wahlberg in "Shooter" where he uses a plastic bottle and some loft insulation
  18. All comes down to peer pressure really. How bad does it look when, at 14, you are one of the last people in your age group to "do it"? When I was leaving school, there was one lass who had already had a young 'un, and that was quite good, considering the year below us had about 3 lasses in carriage

    kestrel

I thought that birds like the Kestrel will only eat what they need, then leave the rest? Or am I confusing that with harris hawks?

    kestrel

Kestrels will go for birds if they can't find mice etc. I imagine.
  21. Thanks for your advice. I'll have a proper look tomorrow, and will get onto a gunsmith if needs be. Thanks again.
  22. Thanks for your reply. If it's bent, is it time for new, or can it be fettled?
  23. Hi all, I've noticed the underlever has started to not fit in the catch underneath the silencer. Is there something I can do to cure this by trying to push it back with some sort of padded vice, or is it a strip down job, or will I have to send it to a gunsmith? Thanks.
  24. In fairness, it's probably something you would see watching the animal versions of YBF.
