  10. hi everyone. I am 14 and soon applying for my shotgun certificate, my dad is also applying at the same time. well on the back of the form it sais to give details of where the guns will be held and if any other certificate holders will be sharing the cabinet. we are not sure as to what to put because neither of us have a certificate yet but we will both use the same cabinet. if anyone can offer any advise it would be much appreciated.
  11. how did you come across that?
  12. mid summer is the best time. its halfway to the game season starts, good pigeon shooting, the rabbits are out early and you can see them late without the lamp, got lots of time to get on top of vermin ready for when the keeper gets the poults in. all in all summer is the second best time of year. (First being boxing day when you go out to play with all the new "toys" you get for Christmas.)
  13. bloody rat ran away with one of my mouse traps last night. found a foot and some fur but the trap was gone. bloody rats.
  14. yep, they're the ones! Was this a good choice or not? thanks from what iv read on here bud i dont think so  But why not?? thanks the cord rots too easily and the wires are not usually spun properly but put them out anyway then get some decent ones. you might catch with them but get some decent ones as well. u have used ones like that as fence snares and they are ok but i would get some better ones aswell.

  22. im in the process of getting my shotgun license, i was recently looking at steel shot and how much less it costs and was wondering how much it would cost to get a gun proofed for steel. and does anyone on here have any experience with steel. i would only use steel on pigeon, crows and other flying vermin.

I did the same thing as you when i shot a bit of wood to sight my air rifle and the pellet hit me just below the eye.how lucky was that. hope your sight gets better soon.
