  5. If i met up with the boys i shoot with and had this with me i'm sure they would take the piss out of me big time! we go out to hunt not show each other our guns lol. Believe me you can spend an awrfull lot of money and still have it look crap. Back in 1991 I wanted a field rifle. Went to Steve Wilkins at Ripley Rifles, only 5 miles from me. I paid £750 for the AR4 action alone ie no stock, but it was exactly to my spec, extended reservoir etc etc. I/he put a 2nd quality sporter stock on it and ended up with a superbly accurate hunting gun that could be used in the field without fe
  6. i recon you would shoot exactly 0 animals with it. i appreciate its technology but me i like to cock and shoot and be as hidden as poss. read a review last night 14ibs un scoped haha 1700 in my pochet i may opt for a mk3 probly, bit electrical but not as in ur face as this.deffo not for hunting. may be 1000 cheaper with black action and walnut and weighing 5ibs the id consider. ONE FOR THE SHOW OFFS IN MY EYES but i do appreciate the technology
  7. When I need new seals for mine I just phoned up Webley and they sent me some next day in the post free of charge. You can find webley contact details here:Webley contact details yea i would contact them. you can get brass bits off ebay for them, seen nice brass bolts round 15-20 ish. i had a viper 2shot in a thumbhole stock, had a bull barrell shroud brass trigger guard, bolt, trigger, looked the dogs. very under rated rifles,if you have a birmingham made one i would recommend keeping it. my vipers tube rusted up i was 2nd owner and 1st obviously never looked after it, so oil
  8. piston head "top hat" by sounds of it. may be your pellet over sized and not nuff power to push it out?had that with wasp 5.56 ages ago threw bsa barrells.
  9. I agree with you on this Victor, I know it's all personal choice and it does make sense to camo your gun, but it's just so nice to see a really great piece of wood and lovely blueing on a gun. I use a guilli type sock over my S-TYPE as I wouldn't dream of having it sprayed up.... i do the same on my s10 and it looks the same as in that piccy. bought 2 and chopped 1 up for the scope, its a tight fit over the rifle and looks same as that s10 all in all 20 quid job. that job in that picture cost 250 if i remember or its the same one. so 20 or 250? i went for 20 kept my wood and
  10. not had a problem but it is a matter of time before you need a new air tube as all are prone to rust weaver your pump has a dry pack or not its going to happen. hence me going the buddy bottle route. have you noticed black streaky lines on your pump yet?that is rust from the inside of your pump another reason i use bottle and sell every year to get a new one.
  11. eerrmmmm think il have to go with my feet and 2ndly my hands.yea there the best bit of kit i have lol. na on a serious note my wellys, cheap and plasticy off ebay but i dont get wet feet

  14. might do,they look the lightest under lever on the market. its between that and theoben slr98 not to sure as i was wanting gas ram and after looking around the record cant be gas rammed.so i dunno what to do. tx200/hw97/77 are just to heavy. how heavys the 57?
  15. YOU COULD GO ROUND THERE BUT REMEMBER THIS GUY WILL STILL HAVE YOUR ADDRESS SO COULD PAY YOU A VISIT BACK. I WAS IN SAME SITUATION AND POLICE WAS LAST THING I WANTED TO DO BUT I HAD TO THREW FEAR OF IF THEY COME ROUND MY HOUSE WITH MY KIDS IN AND STUFF AND YOU KNOW WHAT POLICE SAID?!! CANT DO NOTHING!!! ITS A CIVIL DISPUTE WHICH YOU WOULD HAVE TO PAY TO TAKE HIM TO COURT!! YOU HAVE TO THINK OF THE COME BACKS,I WAS GOING TO GO ROUND THE HOUSE WITH A FEW PALS BUT KNOWING MY LUCK ID END UP IN THE POLICE STATION,THEN THERES IF HE COMES MY HOUSE SHTTYD UP WITH MY KIDS. BEST TO LEARN
  16. done some checking and there on uttings for 99 so hows posted ono sound? they are new and boxed
  17. not a lot, stock and 2 stage trigger, id personaly go for the standard lightning and gas ram it due to being able to change the silencer. i think some people may of used a dodgey lightning "which you can get bad batch's of any make of rifle. to say there pure poo is just wrong as they aint. kick hard yes 177 does a little but not as bad as hws and tx200s. i guess peeps have used a dodgy one or one that needs a good service. recomend you get a lightning and gas ram it,the xls silencer is rubbish and virually un removable and if you do remove youd need to get it screw cut,for this r
  18. i think you should take a look at the bsa lightning tactical and when the spring wears in a year or 2 get it gas rammed. id go for a gas rammed theoben or bsa lightning tbh. just my opinion and ive used all rifles mentioned.
  19. hi, ok for day time and sunny day but no good in rain"steam up",no good under lamp "to blurry". id class this as a hft/ft type scope and the simmons wtc for the little bit more money would be what i would of recomended or bought but thats just me. just my opinion of one i had.
  20. AGREEEEEEEED,LIGHT WEIGHT/ACCURATE/DAMPER MOUNT/SHORT BARRELL/SILENCER/SYNTHETIC STOCK AND BOMB PROOF. AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF CHEAPER THEN ALL THE REST!!
  21. losing pressure would not result in you gettin lower ft/bs it would empty your rifle and would get a 1 ft/ibs may be. sounds like blown o rings which i can help you with as i get some from john bowkett, youl only ever need 1,there a bit expensive but knowing youl never buy any more is worth the bit more. just realised, youve sent it all the way back to bsa just for a o'ring mate by the sounds of it. did you ask the question on the forums 1st? always ask on the forums before spending money.
  22. was thinking same thing mate. you really need to zero and practice at different ranges mate. not picking at you. ive had many problems with s10s ive owned atleast 6 ble printed/bull barrells and every thing. give us a pm as i have a few things i could let you in on to tune it up. thats if your mechanicly minded,if not leave it alone.
  23. you cant mate, you need a 10 shot action and then im sure youd need insides of air tube changed,i had one and thought about it. the best i thought was to get a mag like the 2shot system and extend it but it would cost to much. one thing i can say is this, the 2 shot is more reliable then any multi shot ive ever used and i regret selling mine.
