  1. my jill had a particularly early season this year i had her seen to by a vasectomised hob but she has swelled up again is she in season again? never had this before

    tyson fury was good last night but he didn't really have the opponent to match his strength and the height difference was huge
  6. when i put my new jill in with my current one they had a few little fights but they soon stopped as one took authority over the other
  7. totally agree with you mate people just dont understand do they? pheasants have a much better quality of life than a battery chicken
  8. when i had this problem i found it very useful to remember "swing dont poke" just got to remember to follow through mate

  11. hi there a lot of my dogs have had hernias just little ones no more than the size of a pea these are something i do not worry about they haven't effected my dogs and haven't needed treatment big hernias i would go to the vets and at the end of they day the dog will tell you if its in pain with a hernia
  12. haha... this happend to me no more than a month ago i was keeping my 2 ferrets in a standard rabbit hutch and recently i thought they needed something bigger so i went to pets at home and bought something called the daisy cottage it was two story hutch and much nicer for them if only they could appreciate how much time it took me too build on the manual it said 40-50 mins and took me 3 hours it was a nightmare i had flimsy wooden boards being taken of round my garden by the strong wind its was a nightmare to try and screw together

  14. im starting at moulton college northampton in september to do a BTEC national in countryside management and conservation did my interview back in october looks like a really great college with a strong agricultural and rural background dont know about the best in britain but its definitely worth looking at
  15. if you are keen to getting into country pursuits do some research in your local area of what shoots are going on most of us are lucky enough to be brought up with it but my suggestion is to find out what shoots are going on in your area and go beating during the winter months not only is it great fun it will really get you started to see what goes on first hand
  16. hi ive been studying alot into ferrets and would like to take up the sport as it will be helpfull for when i go to college i do alot of country activities and would like to start this one. but could someone just fill me in on what a polecat is, is it a type of ferret ???
