Lovely looking jukel ...

That is one of the most beautiful and evocative images of a group of dogs, that I have seen fellah..

That style of jukel would make short work of those critters

I think those Bengal cats are really beautiful...
I remember Socks had one,...I asked to take a look at it...
He said, "No problem, but the crazy thing has climbed up on the roof"...
Amazing creatures...

You have to be extremely careful where you site these traps Wilbs,...if someone spots one, you will lose the fecking lot...
I prefer to use such things, in private gardens and other secure areas.
I catch plenty alongside fence lines, walls and similar places where rabbits run...
But,...a brass wire is a whole lot cheaper...

In my opinion, it pays to choose a dog which has been bred down from Herders,...very, very carefully...

If first crosses are your meat, then that's the kiddie

Hunted rabbits with most of the herding dog/running dog composites...enjoyed handling all of them.
Walked out, with Beardies, Borders, Keplies and Cattle Dogs, but there is so much diversity in every individual animal, that it is impossible to state, that one type always turns out, in a particular way...
Just like hunting men,.... hunting dogs are all, uniquely different...

I’ve always liked the look of those little mooching dogs of yours, I am not one for reading books or else I would have put my name down for one.
Hi Trigger, yeah, I only keep wee rabbiting/hedgerow jukels nowadays,...no need for anything else really...
You are right to keep your hard-earned cash in your pocket,..this little mouching book probably ain't for you...
All the best, and do keep on, keeping on...

Dingos
in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Posted
The Dingo blood is already with us....
It lives, on in an ameliorated form, in the Australian Cattle Dog and (if whispered quietly),.in the ancient bloodlines of the Kelpie.
There are very few 100% pure Dingos left in the wild,.most have hybridised with domestic canines...
Great dogs ....
