  1. What yer complaining for shes keeping you fit you'd be complaining if you were waiting for her LOL
  2. That's ferretrail tubes. They are quite expensive now and not worth the money lol! Get some "tuff tubes" my ferrets love em and you can join loads together and theyre cheap
  3. I had a feeling he might be chipped seen as though someone had bothered to have him castrated. Well done for taking him in. But people amaze me why you would just let them go like that.
  4. Mine have lactose free milk. Simples.
  5. And when he does bite don't put him back in the hutch persist with him.
  6. I only use positive methods such as feeding little bits of meat. Even off the top of a clenched fist so he cant get grip. Same with the oil he should lick it off. If he bites shout no take away your hand. Re offer untill he learns biting = no treat. Dont show your scared but also dont just dart your hand towards him to pick him up let him sniff you first. Put a saucer of milk down or a whisked egg and stroke him whilst hes lapping it up.
  7. Do you manage to get homes for all 3 litters of kits?
  8. Sit on the floor let him come to you. Feed him raw meat make sure hes always full up before handling. Let him settle in. Dont put him down give him a chance or pass him to a rescue.
  9. Yeah if you get them both done
  10. Double mesh the hutches you know so mesh is on the outside of the door frame and the inside
  11. shutting the run off! the ferrets cant live in the bed compartment! ferrets deal well with cold mate they grow a big thick coat just the heat thats the killer.
  12. hanging basket, hammock, cat toys, carboard box, golf balls. I would also cover the back and sides with tarp seen as though its not against anything you can get blue ones from pound shop with eyelets in.
  13. if all else fails get few of theese and join them together, theyre very strong and wont rip like the ducting. and they twist together http://www.pet-supermarket.co.uk/Products/HB0454/ancol-small-animal-tuff-tube

  15. Mollski heres the pic you asked for mate
  16. They are funny buggers I cant understand mine. In the run they have a pot bowl of water and some wil still use the bottle. I like to give minea bowls because its just less effort for them.

  21. Fill it to the top. Put the top on then squeeze the bottle I always do. And I always put them in the best upright position. I fix the wire to the shape of the bottles so I can just pop them down and into the mesg
  22. Ive got the stuff bugs mentions too, its very thick, mine go through it like lightening and theres not even an hole in it ive had it few months. here it is
  23. Is she in season? Shes probably hormonal and just wants out, but I have noticed jills pace more than hobs, they seem to get bored easier too lol. Mind you you've only just got her, shes been put in new hutch with two kits, new smells, sounds, people. Leave her to settle in.
  24. No mate to be blunt lol. Get rid of the winalot. If its for kits depending on how old they are, get cheap frozen value mince. As its frozen you can just pour out what you need and obviously leave it a bit to defrost. Also chicken thighs, wings are really cheap once taken out of the box and cut up just put them into sandwich bags and freeze dont take much room up at all. I cut wings into 3 with secateurs for my adults. I wouldnt put meat in all day. See what they eat and just make up bags of chicken, mince for em for each day and leave in the fridge through day.
