    sorry for your loss mate, i had to put my ferreting dog down last month after 16 years and i'm absolutely gutted.i still trying to get myself in the right frame of mind to get another( feel guilty)

    i let my lurcher follow the action off the lead/slip and more often than not she catches them within feet of the bury. as long as the dogs steady with ferrets they soon learn to respect the nets with a bit of patience

    go for it mate,just put mine down after 16 years.We got him from the kennels as a pup,he was the runt of the litter we think he was a colliex lab.he was the best ferreting dog i have seen.better than any lurchers we have used ,mine or others. he loved to bush and caught plenty of game ,he was feircley loyal and a great companion.my mooching andferreting trips are not the same. a.t.b. nellie

    i've got one ,but its made by roughneck,nice and light,i just tie it to the straps on my net bag and away we go.i allways have a back up in the van just in case cheers

    got up last friday morning to find my ferreting dog of 16 years laying in his own mess and not looking to good. a quick trip to the vets confirmed our worst fears that sweeper was on his last legs and starting to suffer.after a talk with family we decided we could not let him suffer and asked the vet to put him down.we got sweep when he was 9 weeks old from ponda rosa dog kennels in Castleford.We had been looking for a jack russel pup but sweep was the runt left out of a litter that had been dumped there, so we couldn't resist. he was a pleasure as a pup easy to train, a natural hunter, eve

    Have you tried the 90, Ron...? A bit weightier than a Fenman but much nicer to shoot the father in law has a 90 in 22 it,s brilliant ,i;m hoping to get that off him eventually as he doesn't use it much

    Around the £325 mark plus or minus £50. cheers for that. went out the other night and took a couple of rabbits and 3 crows with it.completeley different to my springers.seemed alot easier.borrowed my mates 22 fenman a few years back and liked that .by the time the missus would let me treat myself to a new gun they'd stopped making that model

    dropped on a mint condition theoben fenman in.177 still with the original tin of accupells.Tried it on wednesday night and it,s very smooth and accurate. out of interest does anybody have any idea what this would be worth cheers
