i just came back from a quick stroll after doing a night shift. it looked a good morning to get a last chance at a fallow buck before the season ends as i was driveing to my land i seen 8 does but no bucks as i pulled in to the woodland gate i spoted a nice size buck 200yds away but he seen me aswell so up the mountain i went after the b*****d thig :realmad: when i got up the top of the mountain there he was around 120yds out so i took the shot it droped like a stone nice headshot no i had to get it down the hill but atleast i got some some meat for the B B Q

they have come down in prce now viz iam paying £7.99 per 50 for hornaday or £9.99 for the cci gamepoint i find the game point the best they are the 20 grains ammo

whats the best way to cure a deer pelt my mate shot a nice fallow buck yesterday and he would like to keep the pelt. any help lads but it seem a lot of hard work to me

i went for a little walk this morning with the 17HMR i took 7 rabbits out of 9 shots they were between 60 /150YDS but i took a lad who was like dumbo [bANNED TEXT] a loud twat NEVER AGAIN :realmad:

viz i got a [bANNED TEXT] like that i have seen him knocking shotty shells at 70 yds with a.308 FREE HAND and thats no bullshit we went out one morning a couple of years ago there was a fallow doe no more than 50yds out he could have hit it in the eye but he rested the rifle on a tree but the gun looked like it had parkinsons so i would not let him take the it took 5 more tips out before he calmed do but now the twat gets loads of bambi

ijust got back in from a little mooch :whistle: i had 9shots and took 7 coneys whith the 17hmr i hit them between 60 to well over 150yds not bad four an hour

I slip my old bitch by holding her collar or when i do run the two of the dogs together i use my twin slip leads i had made for me by a bloke in the welsh gamefair a few years ago the are made a bit strongetr than normal to cope with the bullcrosses

i would have thought a 308 was a bit big for a roe i have never shot at a roe only fallow and the odd red i sold my 308 for a 243 not so much damage

i need to get a trigger unit for my 17hmr cz any idea wots the best to get and were do i get them from.do you need a gunsmith to fit them........ COME ON BALDIE YOU SHOULD KNOW
