  1. what about the starling? does that carry a point. it ilegal to shoot them so in my opinion i wouldent give points to them
  2. right or wrong . i seen my mate shoot and kill with one shot an adult fox touching 20 yards with his standard s200. i'v seen him drop hares and rabbits up to 50 yards with it aswell hare's are very thin skinnied unlike rabbits which are thick skinned little fockers. despite their size hares fall to the gun clealy at range if hit in the right spot my furthest shot on hare with an air rifle[webley raider 22] well lets say it was well over 70 yard's, bit of a fluke shot maybe. but i still connected and the hare dropped. foxe with airguns!!!!!?????? chrisjones will be on this t
  3. stupid anits! stupid huntsman! they are both baad
  4. sorry but starlings are illegal to shoot and the point wont be counted. secondly you need to put a date with your pic to confirm its not an old pic. thirdly how many points is a pheasent and its out of season now anyway. so by my opinion since you have 1 pigeon (but we dont no if this is an old pic or not? dont worry i trust you!) that 1 point.
  5. he`s a bullshiter jackdaws, crows samething? there both big blach birds wich sit on your chimney pot
  6. thats a good trap but i thought you cold not bait a trap for rabbits. just as you dont have to bait a sesaw trap for squirrels.
  7. you must have a good shot or a powerfull scope!
  8. where i snare there are small gaps in the bushes and hedges where rabbits go in and come out. they are very low and lower than woodgas dvd tells me to set the hieght of my snares. i am wondering whever to put the snare low right outside the hol as after that it splits off imeaditely into 2 forks and i thought "why puy out 2 snares at the reccomended height oon each run when i can put a single snare outside the hole in the bush where the rabbit pokes its head out wich is below the reccomended height" the rabbit has to go down low to get out of this gap in hedge anyway dosent it?

  12. the pros and cons of springers and pc: pros: springers there always ready for action and they aret gunna run out of puff. as they are powered by you pulling the barrel down and cocking it. no fuss. couldent be simpler they are generally more rugged than pcps. and if they do need work doing on them they are easy to maitein. springers also cost less. my bsa lightning (£300) got more rabbits than my mates s400 (£500) and we are about qyually matched in skill (not a lot!) cons: springers they have heavier and more powerfull recoil to pcps wich is garunteed gunna makethem harder to sh
  13. alo a 4x40 scope does fine for me but you might want to go for something with a higher magnifacatiion wich will be a bit more expensive
  14. if its not your first time with a gun then go for PC as they have less recoil and easy to shoot. ion the other hand springersare cheaper and for close to mid range work thwe are fine. its all down tio personal choice. for anything over 25 yards i'd say a PC but if your good shot a springer will be fine. aaron i havge got a springer and its fine
