  1. Am i right in thinking the leg looks almost bowed outwards at times? Kinda cowboy style?
  2. Thankyou guys. They are various whippet/grey/collie/beddie mixes and a 3/4 deer/ 1/4 grey
  3. Just thought i would share a few pics from this afternoon. A couple of these dogs were bred by forum users so i thought they would be of interest to them.
  4. My snipped hob is on anything with a pulse- certainly sounds like something is amiss there
  5. Thats' the chap i'm after-thatkyou very much indeed
  6. OK,unless i am totally mad i am sure i read on here at sometime that someone transporting hounds from Ireland to UK will take other dogs also? I would like to get a dog into the UK from Ireland. Any help or info appreciated
  7. There are quite a few down here in Essex
  8. I hope these are recovered safely asap- how low can you get?
  9. Took these just this morning after getting back from our morning stroll. The dog pup is about 5 months now- i was wondering at what age you guys would have a youngster stripped out or is it just a case of whenever suits?
  10. Here we go! http://astore.amazon.co.uk/dogshop-21/detail/B001BQ8MFW
  11. The nails look ok to me but if you do want to trim black nails there is a device which means you can be sure not to catch the quick- i cannot remember its' name but i shall post a link when i find it- it works on a red, amber and green light system- when the cutting device is held over the nail it goes green when it is safe to cut I dont think i can describe it well and so will get link up
  12. I prefer the polecat colour-however they are so much harder to spot than the whites- aside that a ferret is a ferret regardless of markings surely
  13. Try a tin or two of tuna in oil. It should allow things to move
  14. A few months ago i took in a jill which had spent its whole life away from the litter in a wardobe in someones' flat(!) Anyways,i did wonder what sort of worker she would make and so far she is coming along nicely- i dont know if she was worker bred but not having even been outside since tiny doesnt seem to have held her back on the field
  15. I have 3 out of 4 jills down here in Essex in season- the snipped hob is busy with them now
  16. I never feed dry- the dogs eat raw-it is easy for me as they all eat basically the same. I use rabbits as a staple food but also feed chicken, lamb, venison,Hare ,wild birds, etc. TBH i havnt had any problems,i took in a little Jill a few months ago-she had been raised on dry cat food and arrived here in rag order. She now looks so much better after a diet change- that is evidence enough for me although i have a couple that still get porky on raw if i'm not careful
  17. As said before if she has mastitus she needs to be seen by a vet- however if she is just full then i would allow the odd feed to drain her off but cut her food right down for a few days- that will help. She will almost certainly suckle the spaniel pup- that will delay her drying up - if they are allowed together
  18. That is a disgrace! 24 hours to report it to them- i am sorry but i cannot see how that would be a fair amount of time .I can understand holding an animal for only a set period before rehoming but i cannot see how they have waited for an owner ,tried to rehome but failed all within a 24 hour period! I am really sorry to hear about this- poor ferret
  19. Maybe approach a good behaviourist? Maybe someone from the outside would be able to observe him within the family unit and see what is happening. With such a sudden dramatic change i would only guess it is due to the addition of the terrier or is medical. I certainly think you need to address this before something serious happens- best of luck
  20. I would assume Kennel Cough If it is it will get better in a week or two
  21. you wont fit through those pipes Whoops- i forgot myself there
  22. Looks like great fun- i want a go!
  23. Very sad to hear this-what a shame
  24. I dont fancy my chances with a biggest bag comp...however if you fancy a comedy theme i should be OK
  25. If it is a jill and you can get her to colchester there is a place here for her Otherwise best of luck
