Took my girlfriend out ferreting this morning. The area we were covering was an old railway banking thick with bramble & hawthorn bushes. Holes were difficult to get at so we set the longnet out round about the first set. Caught 3 out of this set, 2 managed to get away. Next set was a job for purse net & longnet, Caught 2. Last set of the day was a job for the longnet again, circled sets, caught 5. All in all it was a good morning ferreting, with the total bag being 10. Kirst enjoyed the morning too.

Out yesterday with my brother Lindsay & his son Jake, with my two young ferrets & his older two. Caught a couple which had mixy a few slipped the net but managed to catch fourteen in total. My young one's are coming on now.
