    dont listen to the computer nerds on this site the only dig they ever got was doing the garden i knew no one into digging when i started out(i was 12) i just got a good terrier pup and joined the local hunt and now im terrier man for that pack. scout around for some good pups and start from there. you wont lern anything from a keyboard all the best

    went out sat after drying out from the previous days digging wit p***y took my old nuttal bitch tryed first spot looked like holding but nothing at home.... next spot was booming... kick out every where and paths leading in from all directions!!! put in "maggie" and after 5 min searching she hit game.. what a beautiful sound we left her to settle for 20 min and got a mark of 3 ft..... the ground was like iron we eventully broke through to finnd the old girl welded to the game i broke her off and let the game up out and away to provide us wit sport hopefully later on in the season ill

    got a great response to deep digs wat about handy ones when i first started doing terrier work for local pack we put one in let in old bitch 2 mins later herself and fox literaly came out of the side of the ditch wat happened was we marked him in a boggy ditch and while i was bringing in the gear the hounds had almost dug through to him in da pocket so when my bitch just pushed him through the thin layer of earth HOUNDS GOT THEIR REWARD

    ya we get some tough digs that are only a few feet deep hard as iron the ground but all the better a test 4 a good terrier

    wats the deepest earth any one ere has dug..... 13 foot dwn through sand and gravel to my old bitch and a very dead red skin was the deepest... the lads holding me by the ankles trying to pull out terrier and game all the while thinking the wholr thing would cave in not a nice feeling!!!

    hi all was out sun checking few earths... after about trying 3 or 4 we eventully got game. my bitch (old nuttall) cornered her game after alot of moving..... 2 . 5 feet was the depth so was a handy start to the season monday morning saw me up at the crack of dawn for our first day cubbing.... hounds found straight away and after half an hour dodging they finally marked him in a tight lookinf spot. my buddy put in his russel type as he is our smallest on our team. it took him half an hour to dig his way riight up to the fox. we dug him at 2 foot a very nasty customer was despatched and ho
