    I used to have a cabin cruiser a few years ago and it was great fun and as others have said there's loads of pubs on the river but the best part was you get to see some fantastic wide life as life on the water is so slow ...but the best bit is if you rent a boat that allows dogs you can have some good sport just slowly cruising up to the bank and letting the dog have a chase or two you can moor up for the night where you want in the middle of know where and have a spot of lamping ... Have fun

    Hello mate Well I thought I might try a few of Stewarts nets and replace a few of my old ones ..I've been offered a pair of 11mth old Jill's that have just seen a bit of work this season but I don't know weather to wait and just pick up a few young kits in a few mths time !!!!!!. What you been you to ?? Are you going to the bath and west show ?

    I had my nets made at 3ft just for under the hedges as I got loads of 4ft nets but Stewart has 50 x 4ft nets ready made so he can post them out straight away but if you want a different size he will make them for you .

    Pip1968 the photos are of the Somerset levels bridgewater/ Taunton way they used to hold large numbers of hares but I would be very surprised if they survived .... There won't be any ground game rabbits hares of badgers alive for miles

    Braking the ferret is easy just get them together and make sure they don't bite each other make sure your dog understands the leave it will take time for the dog to cotton on that the ferrets there for him to chase thing and as for marking holes that will only come with time and work but get the pup on finding a dead rabbit that you have hidden he will soon learn the smell and the penny will drop from fresh rabbit smell to old rabbit but it's mainly down to work and time .....good luck

    How goes it Harry ? No mate I've not got him on anything live yet I was hoping to show him something before the season ended !!!!! I seen my mate the other day and he said the ferret man had about 15 down there for sale so now I've got none left I guess I get some from him or wait for some young kits

    More bad news Came home tonight went down to check my last ferret and found him dead !!!! But the strange thing was he was dead half way down on the ramp that leads from there sleeping area to the main cage !!!! Almost like he had a heart attack when walking down .....so as that's both ferrets now dead within 2weeks I think I will give all cages a bloody good clean out or burn them just to make sure there's no disease in there ..

    Paulus can you help ? I've been playing with the camera and all the setting just to learn what they do etc I've taken loads of photos in RAW but when I try to view them on the laptop they won't view as there in a CR2 file format how can I change them to a JPEG type file ? As all my other photos are JPEG ....I've now changed the camera back to JPEG
