I managed to shoot two rabbits today on my first hunt, the first one i took out with a brain shot, second lung and head shot AA pellets.

I HAVE SEEN THE V-MACH CYLINDER BUT I HAVE READ THAT THE BAR CUSTOM CYLINDER IS LIGHTER AND YOU CAN TAKE IT TO 230 BAR AND GET MORE SHOT PER FILL BUT I CAN NOT FIND IT. THANKS ANYWAY MATE

What weight are those pellets and are they any good in weihrauchs?. 8.44 grains quoted. Shoot very straight through my 90 but seem to slow down quite quickly. I've had my 90 for over ten years and tried (I think) most field pellets through it. Each gun is fussy, to a degree, but the heavy .177 Bisleys, or Barracudas do have an advantage as the yards increase. Try each type, mate, and see what you and your gun likes best. Ok thanks mate

Scope it off on a cushion, don't use cheap pellets ask at your local gunshop what pellet they would recommend, don't hold the springer tightly, Instead of pulling the trigger squeeze your thumb and fore finger, after scoping in don't hold the rifle near the end of the stock hold it quite close to the trigger guard. I have shot a bird at 70 yards using aa's stone dead pellet in the neck, this is my first rabbit hunt and i have been told 40-50 yards with .22 but i will be using .177 would the distance be the same in respect of the quarry. thanks

Hi mate im using jsb exact(heavy) 10.6 gr in my hw100tk with no problems at all very pleased grat stopping power hope this helps What is the furthest shot you have taken with those pellets. thanks

Hello mate, What pellet can you group best in a fifty pence piece size target at 40-60 yards, I think that's your main objective, personally I wouldn't take a sixty yard shot at a rabbit with .177 ammo, I dont think there,s enough knock down power, also I wouldn't use a .177 pellet above 9 grns, there seems to be a lot of evidence about using heavy loads, some say it can shorten the life of the spring significantly, its only an opinion mate but I hope it helps, ATB, Rob.
